Yeah, talking with Dr. Yoo was very good. My only question would be, when am I going to get the results from him looking at the films to tell me what his thoughts are on the diagnosis?

This was my first visit with Dr. Yoo. He is a very kind and compassionate provider. He recited my entire disease medical procedure history without ever looking at any notes, handwritten or digital. He took the time to listen to my own history with the disease and assured me that he would do all that he could to increase the chances of best possible outcomes. I'm looking forward to having Dr. Yoo perform my surgery.

Look, I wish it were not necessary to visit this office at all. I envy those who have access to vaccines that might prevent HPV in the first place. That said JAMES YOO is an excellent provider. He makes me feel comfortable in an "uncomfortable" situation. What this means is I feel I can let my guard down and be very honest about my health and activities. I have seen a few providers over the years for this situation, and he is the best. Thank you.

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Yoo during my recent visit for a hemorrhoid examination. When I expressed discomfort and pain during the anoscope insertion, Dr. Yoo responded unprofessionally by removing his gloves and stating he couldn't help me if I wouldn't allow the procedure to continue. As a patient experiencing pain and vulnerability, I expected reassurance, patience, and guidance on how to manage the discomfort during the examination. Instead, I felt dismissed and made to feel guilty for my natural reaction to pain. Medical procedures can be uncomfortable, and patients rely on their doctors to provide compassionate care and help them through difficult moments. Unfortunately, Dr. Yoo's response made an already stressful situation worse and left me feeling unsupported. I hope this feedback helps improve the patient experience for others seeking care.

It was just a little confusing on a specific time to meet for my visit. The first visit was put before the ct & MRI scans plus blood test so my visit didn't transpire. Without the test results the Dr for surgery wasn't able to go over my current status. That's the only hiccup I had in the whole experience from the very begging on my cancer!

Dr Yoo could not have been more professional, nice and knowledgeable. We reviewed my PMH together. He answered all of my questions and we developed a plan of care for my future. I am waiting for his office to call and schedule my first appointment to be seen in 6 months.

  • Reviewed on 7/9/2025

The only issue I had was that the providers office reached out too close to the appointment time to request recent scans.
