Dr Speed is a caring, intelligent and a wonderful provider. I have seen her twice last year and liked her but circumstances brought me to BI, I have now decided that she is much better at caring and listening than the BI provider. Last year I did refer a patient to her and that patient LOVED her.

My experience with Dr. Speed was excellent. She was very competent, very professional, but also very caring, and it was a very good experience. However, my general overall experience with trying to make appointments is that it takes a very, very long time to be seen for anything. and it may take either weeks or months and that's not really very helpful when there's a real problem.

I didn't get to explain everything that was going on with me medically to the doctor and I also did not get any information about a procedure that I wanted to have done in the future. When I asked about the procedure, the doctor just said "oh that's easy". She seemed to be more concerned about medication's that I'm allergic to. She was very polite but not very informative.

Office personnel very helpful afterwards

She's the best, I would not see any other doctor in this field, she use's the most updated tech and she listens to you as a person

This was my first visit at this office and my first visit with Dr.Speed. The nurse was direct at what she needed me to do. She waited for me outside the door when I needed to "pee in a cup" so I wasn't looking around as to where to go next. Dr.Speed was pleasant, spoke candidly about my visit, pulled my records up, scanned them and gave me a recap of what she was reading as it pertained to my visit. She gave me options, her opinion of each yet let it be my decision. I was very pleased and we agreed to hv a follow up in 6 months. Front desk area was just as pleasant.

The nurse would not supply me with the NDC codes of materials used for my procedure so I had to reschedule. The doctor says she will but unless Im looking in the wrong place I can't find them. I have alpha gal syndrome and am allergic to all mammal products. I have zero medical training but know a website I can use to run those numbers through so Im not harmed during the procedure. Its called pill clarity. The thing is...I wish doctors were educated about alpha gal syndrome and they are not. The procedure may procure a UTI for me and since diagnosis I have yet to find a safe antibiotic or actually a mammal free drug what so ever, the pharmacy is even difficult. I react to road work, mammal fumes and biodeisel and the office is an hour and a half away from my house on one of the busiest highways in the state. Im terrified to go, afraid I won't make it safely. This is all if I get the NDC codes to check them for safety which really shouldn't be up to me with no medical training. I react to glycerin, glycol, magnesium stearate, Stearic acid, Lactic acid, linolool, and lidocaine doesnt numb me due to EDS and Im not sure if its even safe. So Im looking at a potentially deadly ride there, and exposing myself to my allergens yet Im unable to take anticholinergic drugs because they cease my ability to urinate which helps my allergic reactions but causes a different issue. She mentioned a titanium implant for suspected IC but I can't even wear earings with my MCAS. I've tried every metal and I react to it with red pus filled lumps on my ears. I need to find titanium earings if they make them to see if I will react to the implant. The doctor was really nice and patient and attentive and learned all she could about the condition. I suffer anaphylaxis from mammal products and Im so scared a mistake may be made. Still waiting on those codes. Im in a lot of pain. Also, on my record it says I take ibuprofen, I do not and cannot. I do take cromolyn sodium 4xs a day.

When I had my pre-op appointment, she allayed all my fears. I was very anxious. The day of surgery, she came in right before. And she again went through everything and was calm and professional. And I know that she works with Dr. [redacted], and I've known Dr. [redacted] for a very long time. And when she recommended Dr. Speed, I knew she was the right person for me. The surgery went amazingly well. My recovery is going amazingly well. So I'm grateful, thank you.

I truly liked her manner and I feel extremely comfortable in her hands.

Dr. Speed performed surgery about two years ago to repair an entrocele. This is a rare type of prolapse. This surgery has given me back my quality of life. She carefully researched the surgery and had an MRI to double check that this truly was an entrocele and consulted with other doctors. She has carefully followed me since the surgery. She is without a doubt one of the best doctors I have ever seen and trust me I have seen way too many of them over the past five years. She is an 11 out of 10. I wish there were more Dr. Speeds. And she has the best bedside manner to go with her amazing skill. I hope this facility treats her as she should be treated.
