Dr Ivan Stukalau takes excellent care of me and my husband. We didn't have to wait to be seen. I did wait about 6 months for the appointment. The doctor is worth the wait.

I was very satisfied with all the information provided to me during my appointment. Dr Ivan was very friendly and thorough when explaining results from my recent blood tests and answered all my questions and concerns. He's literally the best doctor I've ever had, and that's being totally honest.

I truly appreciate seeing Dr. Ivan Stukalau as he reviews my chart gives me his thoughts on each medical issue and makes suggestions/advise that will help me continue to thrive with good health. He is dedicated to his profession and to patients (I am sure). I appreciate that I was assigned to his care.

I found myself asking about blood work results instead of the physician volunteering the results and once he reviewed it said I needed to be placed on medication statin meds for a level that was 8 points above norm. These were lab results that were 3 months old. I also felt the need to refresh the physician on my history like prostate cancer and BP which he should have known.

It was my first appointment with him and we need to establish a level of trust before I can agree to follow his suggestions. I think there is a huge generation gap but I did appreciate his vast knowledge.

Today was my first time meeting with Dr. Stukalau as I was looking for a new PCP.He was very thorough and has suggested tests I've never had before . I found him knowledgeable and I think we can work together to solve my issues.

In my [redacted] years, Dr. Ivan Stukalau is hands down THE BEST Primary Care Physician I've ever had. No exaggeration! He knows my health history extremely well and mine is complex. I never feel rushed and I can be completely honest with both he and his nurse, [redacted] who is outstanding! I am blessed. Truly.

I am a new patient to Dr Ivan. He was personable and professional and I loved his appropriate dry sense of humor. He showed respect when he popped out while [redacted] gave me my flu and COVID shots. He explained why he was going to prescribe meds and labs. I felt cared for and "seen"! I love having all my other provider's info in the same computer system. That's why I wanted to move to a provider inside the WHP system!

Dr. Stukalau is the most caring and thorough medical provider I have truly have ever met in my many years of personal care and in my 45 year medical career. He listens, takes the time to explain his concerns and reasoning for suggesting testing or medication, AND he actually responds to portal questions himself!!

This was my initial meeting with a new provider. Not a hands-on medical exam. Dr. Stukalau reviewed all the information i provided and arranged followup with other doctors for specific problems. he was quick to respond to a subsequent message i sent on the portal. He appeared very smart and thorough.

To early to tell, this was my first visit.

I found that doctor. Ivan is a wealth of information and definitely pushes hard for preventative care.

I work in healthcare and understand the immense value that PCPs have on patients and the health system. This provider was far too driven by Epic prompts. There was no conversation about me, my medical history, my medications, or my goals. I was 4 months post-partum and not once was my pregnancy, delivery, current post-partum status (eg sleep, potential depression) or future family planning discussed. Pretty shocking to me and a huge missed opportunity to check in on a new mom who gets all her healthcare at MGB. [redacted] I did though leave the appointment feeling very fat (sure, I do have about 15-20 lbs to lose since having my baby) and completely unseen as to why I'm "fat."

He treated me well & with great respect.

This was an initial meeting and consultation. During the meeting the nurse became concerned after the BP procedure. This changed the meeting. The doctor-nurse conducted a test that warranted scheduling further testing. We are awaiting tests, results and follow up.

He listened to me unload details of my many significant chronic medical issues and proceeded to order labs and radiology for my most significant problem. He LISTENS! 1st time meeting with the doctor. I got some answers and fast in getting bloodwork an a ultrasound will find out answers soon.

Dr. [redacted] was a tough act to follow, so I was skeptical about Dr. Ivan's abilities. I must say that I was very impressed, so my fears were groundless!

Supposed to be a physical -did not get a thorough exam . Only listened to my heart, checked thyroid, and lymph nodes by underarms, did not have current information on Covid vaccines, changed my statin based on one blood test

Wonderful experience, nurse was excellent, doctor was excellent and office staff was excellent. Doctor explained everything thoroughly. I would rate him, his nurse and staff a ten on all areas!

Dr. Ivan was efficient and clear in his communication, however he spent minimal time with me, openly mentioning that he needed to leave for lunch as the cafeteria wasn't available. When he first came in, the nurse and he performed an EKG, he performed an auscultation as well as a neck palpation and addressed my primary complaint of potential cardiac events, confirming the details I provided the nurse and shared what we would be doing (holter) and that full fasting labs were needed too. He did not discuss my second complaint (numbness/tingling in my extremities) nor do any other observations, etc. He set up a plan of action but did not seek input or clarification - simply stating what I was going to do (which are things I agreed with). Just lacked some bedside manner, especially as I was trying to be lighthearted considering it was my first time with him (as a transfer from a doctor who retired), but we didn't hit it off quite. That being said, I felt confident that he was taking action in my best interest and was considering my situation which I appreciated! Hopefully we'll warm up a bit!
