She's excellent at giving her time to spend with you, but I really wish that she would take 5, 10 minutes to read the file to see if anything has happened throughout the previous year and what the summaries are before we sit down at the appointment and talk. Because I feel like we rehash it all and we lose time doing that when if she just came prepared and had read the file, we'd be in a better place.

Helyn Delichatsios is a treasure on every level and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Richard Winickoff, my former primary care physician and also a jewel, for giving me into her care when he retired. On a human level, she is like an old fashioned family doctor, a role difficult to maintain in today's challenging world, and reminds me of my beloved father who kept a very small general practice even when his main career was as an anesthesiologist. At the same time , Dr.Delichatsios is a superb clinician, spotting serious health problems that required immediate action and follow up. I wish that everyone could have a doctor like her and the same level of compassionate and intelligent care and concern that I have experienced with her.
