About Helen A Christou

Dr. Christou is the AMC Division Chief of Newborn Medicine at Mass General Brigham and Elizabeth G. Nabel, MD, Distinguished Chair in Pediatric Newborn Medicine and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Christou previously served as Vice Chair of Research, Education, and Academic Faculty Affairs for our department. Her clinical research focus is on Pulmonary Hypertension and Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia in the NICU and she directs federally funded research in her lab at the Thorn Research Building of BWH. Dr. Christou is also theMary Ellen Avery Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Field of Newborn Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
