I've never seen this doctor before and I always saw a nurse practitioner. He was over an hour late and it was like no big deal. And he said, quote, I only deal with the knee when the whole leg and everything is swollen and I can't walk. [redacted]

Dr. Box was great, articulate, thorough, informative and caring. He ordered an additional X-ray and offered to order mri to get a whole look at the area in question. I did send a follow up email later in the day and a staff member suggested I go to another doctor which differed from my conversation with Dr. Box however Dr. Box called and was most helpful.

Dr Box was very pleasant and very thorough in his exam of my of my knees. He told me exactly what was going on with my knees by looking at a recent X-ray. I would highly recommend him and would consider him doing a TKR.

Professional and competent with a good manner

A wonderful doctor who explained exactly what needed to be done with my hip and recovery expectations.

He understood me and the fear I had about possibly knee removal versus finding the source of this sudden new pain.

Seeing our concerns and the discomfort my husband was going through, he reviewed the x-rays again and found other details to discuss, which he promptly did the next day. Yes, this was my first visit with Dr. Box. So it was just basically trying to get to know each other and getting to know what I've been through and what's wrong with me. So it was a good first visit, but hopefully as I keep seeing him, things will improve and we'll develop a rapport.

I found Dr. Box to be an excellent and knowledgeable physician. He took the time to explain my situation and felt the need to refer me to a Trauma Specialist.
