Dr. Katz was outstanding. My experience for a history and for the exam was thorough and thoughtful. He is an excellent practitioner and has impeccable bedside manner. He listens intently. He was able to pull everything together for a final dialogue with him. Treat him well. We need physicians like him to stay at MGH. Excellent experience.

Dr Katz was able to talk to me in detail about his thinking on my current diagnosis and what course of treatment and tests could 1. Improve my quality of life, and 2. Rule out other diseases that have similar pathologies. He was very generous with his time and answered all of my questions and addressed my fears about long- term use of certain medications. I appreciated his attention and expertise. My meeting with him alleviated a lot of the anxiety I'd experienced in the previous weeks.

Absolutely amazing experience

Dr. Katz is an extraordinary doctor and human being. He took all the time necessary to discuss my very complicated case. He did not rush or pressure me. His knowledge of IgG4 is very complete. He strategized as to how best to proceed, took all the necessary steps, and contacted me with a detailed plan of future steps. For the first time I feel that I have a doctor who understands my illness, and who will do everything to help me maintain my health, and who is a kind and understanding person to boot.
