The xray staff and doctor were great. They were nice and explained things clearly.

He showed us clearly on xray where the injury was as well as explained the process of healing that was already taking place. He was very clear as to the course of treatment and optimistic about the future outcome. He understood my desire to get back to sports and made me feel that it was attainable.

He was very honest. He gave me two decisions and I feel that was a good thing to do.

I felt like the communication between all of the caregivers was amazingly good. MGH Danvers is a well-oiled machine with such happy, courteous and knowledgeable professionals from the moment you get out of your car to when you leave. If all hospitals ran like this one, our country's health care system would be in great shape. If there is one critique, I wish there was an option to stay one night following surgery. I did alright going home but the nerve block wore off the evening of my surgery and the pain was severe and somewhat unexpected (although I was warned that the block could wear off anywhere from 12 hours to 3 days I assumed it would be toward the middle or later end of that range). Dr. Waryasz and the attending doctor were engaging and informative and surprisingly funny. I felt very well taken-care of, listened to and confident that I had the right surgeon to operate on a very complicated injury that required specialized care. My experiences at MGH Danvers from multiple cononoscopies to my son's achilles surgery to this operation has been consistently excellent every time.

He is always pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. I wouldn't want to see any other doctor for issues with my ankle. He's an amazing doctor that gets things right. I always recommend him whenever anyone I know is in need.

He listened, offered reasonable choices and explained them, and was clear.

The resident seemed to take more of an interest in what I had to say. The dr referred me to a pain specialist and the person who makes the orthotics, who is exceptional, but I was looking for immediate pain relief while I wait for the orthotics to be made and I don't think he wanted to give me a cortisone shot; he preferred to send me to a pain dr and I am not interested in taking any more oral pain meds.

This was probably so much of a waist of time! The sole reason for my visit was for the pain in my foot and the muscle tightness in my calf and Achilles areas. Gregory never gave me reasons why so much pain and how to help with the pain other then give me a prescription for a different brace [redacted]. I never received any X-rays this time also which I was looking forward to due to how much pain I've been having [redacted].

Lucky to be one of his patients; very knowledgeable, professional, explaining very well to make sure you understand your situation, giving good and understandable advices to help healing and get better soon. A very good doctor and a very kind person as well.

There were several comments made by this provider that made it seem like he didn't know why I was there and what the history of my injury was. He also didn't spend time asking me about what my goals were and how he can help me get there. I understand that getting back to sport may not always be possible...but he didn't know or ask about how the injury happened, what I'm currently able to tolerate physically, and where I'd like to go. He seemed rushed, uninterested, and eager to move on.

I wish Dr. Waryasz had asked consent before recording the session, I wish he had introduced everyone in the room, and I wish he had proactively offered me the option to exclude the unnecessary people. Those simple actions show respect for consent and agency, and their absence is a concern for me.

On our first visit Dr. Waryasz and his PA [redacted] made both of us feel comfortable right away. They took their time to review the X-ray, explained it and went over our options. I had no idea one was for a treatment that was not explained to me. I felt like the provider was in a hurry to get out of the room with me. His answers were not detailed and did not address anything specific. I'm very disappointed.

Greg Waryasz is the best. He got my son in on the same day as his injury. He was very receptive. He ordered the correct tests. He got them all ordered on the same day and he let me know immediately the results.

I was seen promptly after having a series of X-rays. Each provider along the way was very respectful, knowledgeable and helpful with regards to my particular needs and situation. I really feel like I was being treated like a valued patient and look forward to continuing care as needed and instructed.

I thought that Dr. Waryasz did a great job fulfilling the things that I came to do in the appointment and he was able to sort of pivot in the moment and get me what I needed and his initial recommendation wasn't quite what I was hoping for and we talked about it a little more and I was able to get what I wanted and I just thought it was a really great appointment. He said a lot of helpful, interesting things and I learned from him and I just really appreciated his care.

After about 3 years of off and on calf issues Greg took the time to figure out what was wrong. He is the only doctor to go to for lower extremity issues. So when I had an ankle issue going on he was the only choice I'd make. Everyone hates going to the doctor but when a doctor is actually helpful and provides resolutions and great plans it's not as bad. Just want him to know how appreciative I am.
