Getting to this appt was a nightmare due to traffic and because of that I had fully intended for this to be a one and done appointment but the office staff and Dr Piazza were wonderful that it changed my mind on follow up appts! I was worried that I would have yo wait for a while to be seen when in fact I was seen before my actual appt time... that rarely happens so was a pleasant surprise. The staff were all friendly and helpful and Dr Piazza was awesome too! I have follow up testing scheduled and will deal with the traffic because it was worth the hassle Very happy with my appt

Dr Piazza is one of the best doctors I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). He is obviously incredibly smart and knowledgeable. He speaks with confidence (but no condescension) and ease. But beyond that, he is markedly kind and empathetic. He manages assuring eye contact and makes it's known that he's invested in your case. He is thorough and I never felt like a burden or a waste of time in his schedule. He made complicated information easy to understand and made sure I knew what was happening in my body and why we were performing certain labs and follow up appointments.

He was prompt, polite, caring, and an exceptional listener. He heard my concerns and questions and his answers were supportive and understanding. I left feeling hopeful and validated.

I feel extremely fortunate to have Dr Piazza as a doctor. He is deeply knowledgeable and makes clear that he appreciates my questions, whether in person or via the patient gateway. His explanations provide a nod to recent research that gives me, a non-specialist, a clear understanding of how expert opinion on the topic may have changed since last I checked (or from what's commonplace opinion online). Thanks to Dr Piazza, my medical condition is just a straightforward thing I live with, not a thing that causes me concern - whatever it is that comes up, I know he has it handled. Another way that Dr Piazza shows his expertise is the efficiency of his practice. Appointments always are on time (and can be early if you happen to arrive early!) and thoughtfully organized. Truly the gold standard in patient care.

I very much liked that the doctor himself came out into the waiting room to fetch me and he brought be to the exam room and immediately began examining me and discussing my situation. Also, the receptionist that checked me out was SUPER helpful in scheduling my future appointments - added me to their "wait" list, at her suggestions, in the hope of getting an earlier appointment. She also provided me with a printed map of the hospital with directions to get to the lab for blood work. Very friendly and professional too!

He was on top of writing the necessary letters to my insurance company quickly, which has made a huge difference in helping me move forward with follow-up appointments and referrals to other specialists. It's rare to find a doctor who combines excellent medical expertise with genuine care and timely follow-through. I'm so grateful to have Dr. Piazza as part of my care team and would highly recommend him to anyone, especially those dealing with complex conditions like lipedema.

DrPiazza and his staff are wonderful. The most difficult thing about the visit is the parking because the garage is full and getting a valet even is near impossible. Because they're always so backed up and full. The other thing is the wait time for appointments is longer than the doctor would like, and that can be frustrating over time.

Dr. Piazza is fabulous and a savior for the lipedema community. But we need more doctors, manual lymphatic massage therapists and hospital pt departments covering insurance for the special massage. It should not only be Dr. Piazza helping us. After 15 years of boston lipedema help there's still insufficient staffing
