Dr. Acampora is the oncologist that I see and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and what they're going through or how well they're doing or not doing. He tries his best to help you solve and cope with whatever you are going through and he is very intelligent. He knows what he's talking about. He doesn't just try to brush you off and, you know, prescribe you medication and that's it. He actually listens and tries to solve get down to ?

This was my first meeting with Dr. Acampora and he is truly my last hope after 13 years of pain. I wish I'd met him sooner. I'm praying that his methodology and his guidance will bring me some relief so I can have a decent life. Very kind, expert at explaining the complexity of our brain and the nervous system and pain. And I look forward to being his patient and getting better. Thank you.

He was so warm, personable and kind. I immediately felt comfortable with him..We had discussions about every detail I wanted. He kept giving me reassurance and encouragement. He helped me feel not alone. He immediately responded to my questions the next day on patient gateway. He was able to give me a follow up appointment in a few weeks.

I have seen him only once, yet I feel more optimistic about my health after seeing him than any time since becoming sick. He is utterly disarming and I have a sense I am privileged to be able to see him.

The doctor was engaging and open-minded to my personal patient needs, and professionally gave pause to my long-standing diagnosis, which I felt was an appropriate first step in establishing a healthy patient-physician relationship.
