Dr. Steele clearly had not read my medical record before this second opinion consultation. Most of the visit was spent correcting his misinformation or lack of information. We did not get a chance to talk about the differences in the interpretation of the data from my local hospital and the Brigham. I do not feel confident in Dr. Steele's recommendations as he had not throughly reviewed all the information relevant to my case.

Seem to be uninformed on my case and my previous labs and results.

Dr. Steele fit me in for a quick visit when I arrived late because I went to the wrong hospital location (Boston instead of Faulkner). I'm glad he did this since he was able to address a problem I had. His staff is going to arrange for me to get back soon for the tests that were planned.

Dr. Steele was very, very helpful with me in explaining the issues that I was having concerning the urology situation that I'm facing right now to the extent that we have set up an appointment in about another week's time or more to meet with him to have other tests done that would be very helpful to get to a conclusion. So I was very appreciative of how open he was, how knowledgeable he was about the situation and I'm very pleased with it.

Dr. Steele was not just interested in reviewing the latest CT scan regarding my history of kidney stones and looking at vulnerability to having future kidney stone episodes. He was looking at that in the context of my overall health and was interested in how I was maintaining myself in other areas that have to do with my overall health and avoiding as best I can anything that might precipitate another episode of a kidney stone. I was impressed that he took the time to review all that and listen very carefully.

I appreciated that last visit he saw that I was nervous to be pushed out a year on my checkups, so he did six months. This time I was more relaxed so he pushed it to a year. It is nice that he not only dealt with my physical health, but my mental health also. That is very important to a patient dealing with any illness.
