About Grace S Shin

Dr. Grace Shin is a member of the Optometry and Contact Lens Service. She offers comprehensive eye examinations and has particular interest in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, as well as both routine and specialty contact lens fittings.

After earning her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, Dr. Shin went on to earn her Doctorate in Optometry with high distinction from the Michigan College of Optometry. During her training, she also received several honors and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She completed her Optometric Residency in Ocular Disease and Cornea/Contact Lens at Mass Eye and Ear, where she received additional training in multiple ophthalmic subspecialties, as well as in specialty contact lens fittings for irregular corneas, including post-transplant and corneal ectasias.
