There are PCP offices closer to where I live but I will travel to keep Dr. Sylvan . He knows me, my history and I have great trust in him .

I have been Dr Sylvan's patient for 15 years.... he is excellent!

He answers all my questions with clarity so that I can understand and, will patiently clarify what I don't understand respectfully.

I can speak English and Spanish; I speak Spanish, but I can also speak English, and I was able to communicate clearly with Dr. Sylvan in both languages. He's very professional and very humane. Not helpfull on trying to work out problems

Dr. Sylvan is very professional in what he does and he's very knowledgeable in the areas of his expertise and he's always has, he always adds something or makes me reflect on something based on our conversation. So he's amazing. That's why I continue to go. I mainly go because of this provider.

The provider appeared to be grinning or laughing under his mask while I was raising my concerns, which made me feel dismissed. He has not shown a sense of urgency or compassion during my recent visits and often comes across as very dry, making me feel like a burden. [redacted]

Visit yearly care excellent

I am blessed to have Dr Sylvan as my primary care provider. These last two plus years have been a medical nightmare for me and my family. I've had COVID, heart attack, throat cancer and a fall that required a laminectomy. Dr Sylvan has been the one constant in my recovery. He responds to all questions I have. He truly cares about his patients. I've seen healthcare become corporate; not Dr Sylvan- he is old school. The health care profession needs more Dr Sylvans! He is always positive and encouraging.

He is the best Doctor I ever had

Yeah, I've been going to Dr. Sylvan for quite a few years, and I have to say, I am very pleased with him. And he was very accommodating when I visit the other day, even to have a little bit of humor, which I like humor to a certain degree. So that is a big plus. It wasn't like stiff or any of that. So that's a big plus to me. And he did answer my questions and give me a feedback on my blood work and everything that I need to know. And he is looking into keeping up with my health and all. Now, that's about it. I don't know, am I supposed to press anything now to say I'm done? I'm not sure.

Dr. Sylvan is perhaps the best primary care physician I have ever had. He's attentive, he listens, every suggestion he makes is very good, and he's very patient.

Well, during my last several visits, I have had a sore spot in the back of my skull where I fell when I lost my balance after a stroke. And it has been painful for the better part of a year. And I thought it perhaps warranted a CAT scan or something to give you some idea of what might be wrong. And that has not been acknowledged as worthy of doing. And I've been a little bit concerned about that. That's the extent of it. I guess the only other thing is that I have a benign tumor that makes urinating difficult.

Always treated with respect. Goes over my blood test results asks questions and makes sure I am all set before he leaves me with the secretary.

Dr Sylvan is my PCP for the last 10 years or more. I'm getting excellent care and very satisfied with PMA's care.
