I was somewhat taken back when the Doctor Who I had never met or spoken with, came in with full knowledge of my history and clearly spent an unexpected amount of time reviewing everything. Very much, felt like I had picked the right cardiac team with the retirement of my prior provider

My visit with my provider was excellent. She was very attentive to my thoughts and concerns and needs. She spent a lot of time with me trying to find a plan that would work. The only time I felt frustrated was towards the end when we "ran out of time." I hadn't come to a conclusion for myself about treatment and she made it very clear that she had to get to her next appointment. So in that regard I felt rushed and pushed aside. She did acknowledge that they didn't schedule her enough time and we had spent a lot of time ttogether but we weren't done and I don't live in the country full time so it's not like I can just schedule another appointment.regardless it was frustrating and I felt a little angry and sad. I was leaving almost as unclear about what I needed and wanted as I did when I entered the appointment. With that said - It was the only time that I felt frustrated during my entire appointment.

Very helpful and also suggested we set up an appointment for help with providing financial help or additional cost lowering for an expensive drug. Would recommend Giulia to anyone.

It was a first appt with Dr. Sheftel. She put me at ease from the get go, spent one hour with me. We talked a lot, she gave me free rain to ask questions, respond to my concerns, established a treatment plan I accepted. I was impressed at how much she knew about my past health issues! All is all I felt well cared for. I lucked out and am in the best of hands!

Dr. Sheftel is right mix of knowledgeable, clinically curious, thorough, encouraging and compassionate. She spends appropriate time reviewing my test results & discussing next steps for treating my aortic stenosis. She consults other clinicians/refers me to other cardiac specialists when she deems it necessary or helpful to my case. Her expertise is apparent, she considers the whole patient & gives me confidence in my treatment plan. She is great & I am grateful to have her on my team.

This was my initial visit with Dr. Sheftel. From the moment she walked in, I was extremely impressed. She listened attentively to my situation, offered advice and was very caring. She assured me that my condition was healed and made me so comfortable. She stopped a medication that was toxic and made my hair fall out. I value her expertise and especially her bedside manner. She is a treasure!

Dr. Sheftel is extremely bright. In your conversations with her, it's as if you're speaking with a friend or at least somebody who's not following a specific script. I know that there's logic and a sequence to seeing what somebody's heart symptoms are for how they're doing, but it didn't feel like that. It just felt like two people speaking. And of all the doctor's visits I go to for my various health adventure in all these years, I forgot to ask questions the least because I felt the most comfortable. The last three visits, the doctor did dictation more than communicate with me. The doctor when they first came into the exam today stated she needed to double check my blood because it seemed low. At the end of the exam visit, I asked if she was going take my blood pressure again. She she out of time and had to go to her next appointment. This response from her has happened the last couple of visits..

Dr. Sheftel has been my cardiologist for at least 20 years. I'm a lawyer who does a lot of defense work which includes medical malpractice where I protect doctors who are sued. I have to say that Dr. Sheftel and her team are one of the best I have ever come across. They are knowledgeable, pleasant and genuinely care about how I am doing physically. That's why I have stayed with the practice for as long as I have.
