I'm fortunate to have Dr Hayes as a pulmonologist. I trust that he has the skills to help me.

Dr. Hayes is very thorough and spends the necessary time to obtain information and then make recommendations. He gave me a prescription for an inhaler but the price for one month (never mind the total cost for a year) was too expensive. I so think this is something I may need later but not right now. Instead, I'll follow his other directives and hope for the best!

I was very impressed with Dr. Hayes' knowledge and expertise. He went over every one of my past medical records and there are tons of them and I don't know how anyone could do that. But he searched each thing, saw every result, commented on it, and was just absolutely perfect in that respect, more than any doctor I think I've ever been to. Personality-wise, he and I were not really the same. He's very serious and I'm not, it doesn't matter. He was kind and that's all that mattered to me and I know that he is an expert at what he does.

One of the 1st appointments for the day, the Dr arrived exasperated and was rude, arrogant and disrespectful. Rattled off 4 possible treatment solutions in seconds and said "but nobody wants to do them". He did eventually apologize for his attitude. We ultimately agreed to next steps.

He tried to persuade me to understand his point of view vs what mine were and was verbally disappointed when I didn't. He also pointed out medical advice supported his opinion and was frustrated that i didn't automatically accept it. Seems very concerned

I frequently feel as if I can't ask questions about COPD Asthma or PFT test results to learn exactly what the different FEV1 percentages mean, without the doctor becoming frustrated or impatient with my minimum level of understanding. I am not a pulmonary specialist with years of academic knowledge or professional experience. Patients are going to have questions that may seem elementary. [redacted] I have taken 4-5 PFT tests and I still don't have a comprehensive understanding of what the data generated from those tests truly mean and how those results play a role in my current health. [redacted] there is room for improvement in [redacted] and patient education.

Dr Hayes has been following my health issues for about 10 years now. He is professional, kind and an excellent provider knowledgeable about all the issues I have experienced and been concerned with. He is an excellent care provider! One of the best!

I saw Dr Hayes after concerns my GP had from imaging showed fluid on my left lung on. Monday I was seen by Dr Hayes and he spent over an hour discussing the results of my imaging and by Thursday he saw me and remove a liter of fluid.
