Yes, the good doctor that I met with virtually, sitting in my own kitchen there, he was extremely nice, professional, intelligent, and I asked him every question I had about my hernia, maybe plural, and he answered every single one more than satisfactory. He even talked me into doing the surgery using a robot. So that's pretty good. Yeah, so I apologize, and I'll call you Dr. V. I apologize as far as being able to pronounce your last name, but yep, no, this is the surgeon that definitely I want to

Excellent surgeon. I had a complex surgery that comes with a lot of post operative risks. I had zero complications. My surgeon was kind and listened to my concerns.

Did not get to speak with the Dr. I believe it was an assistant (who was great). They reviewed the Xray taken the day before at MGH/Brigham in Pembroke, MA facility. They wanted me to come to Boston, which is an excruciating ride, but decided to work with my PCP in Plymouth with whom I had an appointment that day. This worked out perfectly as the blood test in Plymouth indicated that there was no internal bleeding. Great team work.

I love Dr. Velmahos. Not only is he a fantastic surgeon, he is so kind and caring, and empathetic. He is a real person, sincere, and does what he does SO well. I think without his skills, I would have been in a much worse situation physically and emotionally, and without his kindness, I would have had a difficult time. He is the best doctor I've ever had.
