Dr. Papaliodis is by far the best in the world. He cares so much for his patients and I am lucky enough to be one of them. If I have to have these not so happy eyes, I'm glad he is the one caring for them. From a very grateful patient for all he has done for me over the past 17 Years

I have been working with Dr Papaliodis since last year managing some bad allergies that affect my eyes and have been causing some form of allergic conjunctivitis an occasional eye swelling. Dr Papaliodis has been the only one of over 10 doctors that I have been dealing with this issue on who has come up with something that has really helped. I'm still having occasional struggles with these allergies but my care team has grown much stronger with his support and he has worked with my other doctors to help me be able to manage my symptoms better. I don't have enough nice things to say about this provider. He's brilliant first of all, he's thoughtful, listened, provided me with a care plan, gave me hope, made me understand what was going on, he's the best....

Dr P is fabulous! He listened attentively, he's knowledgeable, efficient and kind. I have an auto immune disease that has a negative effect on my eyes. When I called to make an appointment to see him, I specifically asked if he performs a certain procedure I was told could help me. I was assured by a receptionist he does, however, when I arrived, Dr P explained that mass Eye And Ear no longer provides that particular service, although they had in the past. I asked for a letter of medical necessity so I could submit it to my insurance to find a different practitioner that does the procedure so I can attempt to get the procedure covered by my insurance. Dr P graciously agreed. The young woman working with him (a fellow) was also amazing. Within two days I had a detailed letter I could submit to my insurance. Although it's not a clinician's responsibility to help navigate health insurance, I really appreciate the kind behind the scenes work they did on my behalf.

Knowledge regarding my issues

I was immediately put at ease by his friendly greeting and humor. He presented me with all of the in depth info I requested in a thoughtful and proficient manner. I felt well informed and confident with his diagnosis.

The doctor listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I would have liked to hear if there was any additional treatment options available for me.

He talks in long monologues without being prompted - no chance to interject, he poses a question then answers it for himself. Not necessarily a problem, just quite peculiar to talk for an extended period of time when the patient hasn't asked a question.

Dr Papaliodis is a wonderful, caring, respectful, knowledgeable and brilliant person and doctor. I have been seeing him for about 11 years now...i travel from western MA to see him. I feel he has saved my vision!

Dr Papaliodis is the best eye Dr I have had in my entire life. This does not mean I have had bad eye Drs, it simply means I believe he is the best I have had in my life to date. He either has a great memory of me and my health issues or takes the time to study my records before seeing me. He addresses my concerns and makes sure that I understand. He always asks if there is anything else that needs to be addressed before ending our appointment.
