Gaurav Dang, MD

Dr. Dang will be moving to a Belchertown medical office in July. I will definitely follow him there. I feel comfortable with him. We discuss whatever the problem may be. He is thorough in explaining my concerns. I never feel rushed as though I just took a number at a deli. He is a kind and caring doctor.

Dr. Dang is an excellent physician. I'm very pleased with his compassionate and very highly skilled approach to working with me. In this time of heavy influence of Medicare and insurance providers on primary medical care, Dr Dang achieves both the protocols required and a personal engagement with the patient. My wife and I will stick with him!

This was my first "get to know your new doctor" visit. Dr. Dang was very responsive, respectful, interested, and knowledgeable. I am excited that he will be my new GP. I had to wait over 8 months for the appointment but that's just the way the field is today. It was worth the wait. I feel Dr. Dang will work with my other providers well, as well as share information with me that is relevant and helpful to my overall health.

Yeah, I don't know if you can hear me because I'm at a concert, but I've been a long-term patient at. I really have been appreciating how quickly Dr. Dang has gotten up to speed with the practice and me as a patient. So, very happy.

Dr. Dang and I had never met before this visit, [redacted] Dr. Dang was well-prepared for our appointment. His demeanor was exactly what I expect from a doctor: calm, serious, attentive, respectful, and patient. We met at the end of the day on a [redacted], but I still felt that there was no rush and that I had his full attention. We talked for a long time, and what I most appreciated from the conversation was: I felt that the doctor was fully engaged with using his brain and his training to evaluate my personal situation. Instead of working from a script or a checklist, it felt like he was gathering evidence, going where the evidence took him, and helping me understand his thinking. This medical situation has been worrying me for a while, and I absolutely needed someone to take me seriously, rather than brushing me off or telling me it's no big deal. Dr. Dang gave me the kind of care and attention I needed in this situation.

I really appreciate being seen by Dr. Dang. He laid out the appropriate testing and treatment options for my condition and explained the reasons for each. I was also impressed that after the visit he consulted with his colleague Dr. [redacted] who knows me well and they made an additional recommendation which I'm following.

To be frank, if I had gotten these comments for any other visit or hospitalizations I've had in the past 6 years than my answers would've most definitely been different.
