Dr. Ferguson is a very nice, experienced doctor. However, I felt he didn't really want to hear what my objectives were and how to get there. And that was frustrating for me. That doesn't mean that I don't think he's a good doctor. I just feel like he thought he knew who I was without asking me. [redacted]

Dr Ferguson listened to me and determined that i had a meniscus tear, in addition to arthritis. I was limping and in pain. He suggested a cortisone shot, which I had and which resolved the pain. I am now walking and sleeping much better.

I had an appointment with Gary Ferguson, MD today at BWH Westwood, MA and he was wonderful, caring and fully prepared. The facility was modern, welcoming, Clean and check-in process was friendly and efficient. I had imaging first and the technician was professional and provided detailed instructions. Dr. Ferguson then came to the exam room and he was fully prepared. He had reviewed my history, past x-rays and today?s x-rays. After examining my knee, he immediately made a point to ease my mind that my knee issue was common and did not require surgery. Dr. Ferguson is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, now providing consults both on surgical and non-surgical patient care. He provided an unbiased opinion, treatment options and asked me for my thoughts and questions. Dr. Ferguson provided me with a wonderful consultation and direction for the treatment of my knee pain. What a wonderful person. I highly recommend Dr. Ferguson.
