Dr. Stewart came to our appointment fully prepared to discuss results from my PET/CT scan and possible approaches, next steps, and treatment plans. Dr. Stewart is also an exceptionally good listener. Given my condition, my wife and I often have a multitude of questions. Dr. Stewart patiently listens and then responds thoughtfully, often with questions which provide added context and depth. This has resulted new insights and and enhanced treatment options which would not have been possible without his willingness to actively engage with his patients and their family members. As a cardiologist who works with patients and families who are in potentially dire medical situations, Dr. Stewart will be one of the key influencers in how their future will play out. But instead of using this power in discussions with his patients, Dr. Stewart empathy and respectful clear communication. Checks to ensure that messages are understood without confusion, and that his patients and their family leave feeling heard. Dr. Stewart is an exceptional physician, and human. We are very lucky to have him in our court and appreciate the opportunity to share this important feedback.

This was a first meeting with them as my new cardiologist as my prior doctor had retired. The meeting, discussion of test results, medications, physical exam and discussion of medical history all went exceptionally well.
