Dr VLEUGELS explained my psoriasis which made it seem manageable.. he prescribed an ointment and the way to apply it for the best outcome. It's only been two days of treatment,, but I already felt that it's starting to work.

I was able to get the appointment that I needed because I was coming up on an annual treatment or from my first meeting with Frank, which went very well. I had never in all my military times and doing different things, I never had a top of the head to the bottom of my feet thorough, thorough work that he did in about 20, 25 minutes. And it was wonderful and I said, I'm going to have ?

Doctor was clear, through and friendly. I appreciated how he answered my questions, asked about my history in terms of caring for my skin, sun protection, etc. In talking about a follow up yearly appointment, he encouraged me to set up an appointment sooner if I had any concerns.

I was troubled that Dr. Vleugels did not look at my scalp or gluteal/groin areas. [redacted] At no point in the exam did he touch me or my skin. All the other dermatologists I have seen have done so. He is personable, kind, and seemingly smart, but moving very fast [redacted].

I have enjoyed seeing Dr Vleugels. Having him at MV Hospital is a real plus.

This was the first time I saw Dr Vleugels, and I was very happy with my visit , but I forgot to talk with him about a skin tag on my eye lid, which I was hoping he could help me with.

Dr. Beligal was extremely helpful and very efficient and discovered things that I was not aware of that could become problematic and took care of them. We much appreciate having him on the staff. And I made a mistake with one of the ratings on the nurses. The nursing, the nurse staff that we saw was also very good. So please discount that. I think I gave one bad rating and it was a mistake. Dr. Vleugel was exceptionally patient in explaining my condition, the strategy for continuing care, the use of specialized medication, the general trend of my condition, the need for continuous UV protection, together with treatment and monitoring options. It is such a relief to know the hospital is providing a dermatologist on a regular schedule. For several years it was touch and go.At some point I had to go to Falmouth because there was no hope of getting an appointment. Dr. V acts as if he is glad to see you, up-beat, knowledgeable, at the same time he is all business. I trust his comments on the needs and state of your skin. The young woman who prepares you for the visit is pleasant, clear on the directions as to what to do and when the doctor wil be in.

Compared to previous visit, this one was very rushed. Very surprising since I was the 8:30 patient seen at 8:20! Obviously he wasn't trying to make up for lost time! That aside, we're fortunate to have this physician on the MVH staff.

Hi, yes, my experience with this dermatologist was excellent. He, you know, he checked my whole body for any signs of skin cancer. He took two spots off my nose. He treated my two warts and my corn on my, two words on my left hand and a corn on my right foot. And I'm very glad to have him as my dermatologist.

Dr. Frank was absolutely unbelievable. He was kind. He was very thorough. He explained things beautifully. He had read my charts, so he knew my history. We discussed what the future looked like with the precancerous sort of lesions on my legs and what we would do during the winter. He was very, very sweet. He had a wonderful bedside manner.
