For this specific condition that was diagnosed in the Mass Eye and Ear ER on [redacted], this provider was the first doctor, besides my PCP, whom I saw for this. [redacted] he was extremely helpful and gave me lots of information.

I don't have enough positive things to say about the doctor I saw. However, MEEI needs to improve. It's hospital "wayfinding" within the hospital, from the front door, to the poorly labeled elevators, (one of which always seems to be sown, and there is no marking for staircases, which can be taken) to the clinic/ Office room labeling.

I was fortunate to see Dr. Santos for my vertigo. He was clear and careful.

Dr santos began by showing me where my schwanoma is using a diagram of the ear. he clearly explained the need for follow-ups, and the physical problems that arise if the tumor grows. He followed a camera down my throat to examine my vocal cords area. I brought questions, and Dr. Santos answered all of them. He is a "physician's gift" to the community. He was clear in all explanations and thorough. I'm blessed to have Dr. Santos for my care, and I will see him for many years to come. A huge grateful "thank you" dr. Santos!!

Yes, the doctor was very professional, was very thorough, was a little disappointed that we don't have a definite answer, although he doesn't think at this point in time he can help me and I need to go to neurology. He seemed to be focusing more on the headaches, although I do have other symptoms other than headaches, but hopefully a neurologist will be able to shed some light, and otherwise I was very impressed.

I have told all my friends that Dr. Santos was wonderful. He told me that the ENT I saw in Maine did all the right things, sent all the results of my tests, but he wanted me to tell him in my own words why I was there. He listened carefully, with respect and empathy, and then showed me my test results and explained why I was having the problem. After months of stressful hearing, I felt such a sense of relief to just understand why and face the reality of how long it might take to be back to some form of normal and what I might try, in the meantime, that might help. Understanding is EVERYTHING!

Dr. Santos is a wonderful Doctor and surgeon. I am grateful for the eardrum reconstruction he did for me many years ago and the follow up care since.
