I have been struggling for years and years with certain GI symptoms. We recently tested me for SIBO. My results were positive (as were most of the SIBO tests I have taken in the past). [redacted] I came to my last appointment wanting to discuss how my type of colon, which I learned about in my colonoscopy, may be creating the conditions for SIBO to occur. She said, "You really seem to put a lot of stock in this SIBO diagnosis don't you?" I don't understand why I would not. It's a legitimate condition, for which I tested positive. This type of comment is very frustrating to me. Why are we testing then? [redacted] She was open to reviewing my lab results and we agreed that I would talk to a nutritionist if that would help.

The Endoscopy Procedure was done without any uncomfortable side effects.

I didn't appreciate how this provider frequently interrupted me, talked over me, and was very curt with their answers when I asked questions. I also didn't appreciate the judgemental tone they seemed to adopt in response to some of my questions. [redacted]

Yes, I had a great experience with this provider, especially because, well, first of all, it was virtual, and second that it was very open to hear about the different options regarding testing, you know, which was especially it was kind of the main next step on my course. So yes, I had a great experience because, yes, definitely they're trying to cover some of the key aspects of getting testing and all the details regarding that. So it was a good experience.
