Thorough, kind, and straightforward. Dr. Lilly explained the best approach to learning what was causing my facial dermatitis and also described the patch test option, warning me that the latter was quite annoying. Despite my reticence to give up my perfume, hairspray, and air freshener for 6 weeks, I was easily persuaded that it was the better choice. I am eager to put this skin issue behind me and am glad to have Dr. Lilly guiding me through the discovery process.

This is not specific to Dr. Lilly, but everyone I've seen at MGH Dermatology. This year I asked about getting a mole removed and left with no real clear instructions about next steps [redacted]

She seemed to be very knowledgeable. However lacking some communication skills. Talking very fast and also very quick with exam and conversation afterwards. She should slow down a bit.

Dr. Lilly and the resident were efficient and seemed knowledgeable. The resident forgot to consent me and had to do it at the end of the procedure. In general, health care seems rushed. Not enough time to absorb and make best use of hard to get appointments. It is less a reflection on the provider and more about the way health care is dispensed.

I do not feel I had a complete,in depth exam . I had Moises surgery 4 weeks ago and am very disappointed with the dept of my exam. Some additional spots were biopsied , but felt my exam was centered only on what I pointed out . It was rushed and not in depth. I have a history of skin cancer issues , and was not happy with the depth of my exam .

I really liked Dr. Lilly, but I felt like she and the nurse were rushed. Probably not her fault. She was very thorough, but because I felt this rushing business, I forgot to ask her about something. And yeah, so it took me two and a half hours to drive in there, and then I felt rushed while I was there. So other than that, it was fine.

I think that Dr. Lilly is very competent and easy to speak with. She listens, she's thorough, and I think the world of mass general dermatology. She did say, I'm here to check for cancer, and it was my annual mole check. I guess my suggestion would be just, I did bring up my granuloma annular, which she was aware of, but it's, you know, I guess asking about any other, because it might not be apparent any other dermalogical issues you may have, you know, just to make sure you get, you know, get the expert to weigh in. And I did ask her questions and she answered at the end, but it did seem like my one-year appointment was just for the cancer check, and it would be nice to make sure that everything gets checked. Thank you.

She is excellent. However, MGH should really stop playing pop/rock music in its waiting rooms. It is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. There is ample research out there to support the use of non-lyric music in waiting rooms, but music with lyrics has shown to increase anxiety. It is hard to believe that a decision to play pop music in a waiting room that is mostly full of seniors who are often sensory challenged -- and/or are often there under less than happy circumstances -- was made.
