This was my first time meeting Dr. Chung. I was pleasantly surprised by his manner and interest in my situation. He had a great, friendly personality for what can be a scary topic (heart issues). He took ample time with me to explain various options, complete with online videos and drawings on a whiteboard. I was surprised that he was not a bit more familiar with some details from my past. I don't know whether that information was not available, or if he waited for me to explain all that myself. Overall, I'm very glad that he was assigned to me [redacted].

Dr. Chung has been extremely accurate in terms of his predictions about what might happen and his prognosis. And certainly during subsequent meetings after an ablation that he provided, I've been healthy and haven't had any additional concerns about my tachycardia. So I can't say enough about him. And he's a good person, too.

Dr Chung is amazing. It would have preferred to spend less time at the beginning of the appointment talking to the fellow alone however. That took up most of our time before we had to leave and wasn't that necessary

I just was very impressed with the amount of time they spent with me, making sure to answer all my questions. I had traveled from out of town, so it was a really important visit for me. They made me feel extremely comfortable with what I'm dealing with, the pathology in and of itself, the potential treatments, and also the plan going forward. I just kept remarking at how much time and attention that they paid to me. I felt extremely respected, extremely heard, and well cared for. I would highly recommend both of them and the hospital.

Overall, a fantastic experience with both Dr Chung, Dr [redacted], the exercise physiologist and [redacted]. I can't say enough good things about the level of care I received and the outcomes from the visit. So glad I traveled to Boston for this visit as I was struggling for answers. Highly recommend both MGB and the cardiology department for athletes with specific needs and in search of answers.

I reached out to get an appointment with Dr. Chung. He went above and beyond and responded quickly and reached out to me personally to help me get an appointment set up. And the customer service was outstanding. I was extremely excited to get an appointment and it was very helpful. So the overall service was fantastic. Dr. Chung was very timely for the appointment. He was very professional, knowledgeable, an excellent listener, responded to my input. We actually worked together to come up with a plan that seemed to be in my best health interest. I was very, very pleased with the appointment.

As a Physician myself, I can definitely say that Dr. Chung is excellent in all aspects. He is extremely knowledgeable, listens well and understood all my concerns, he addressed all my concerns, answered all my questions extremely well, was accepting my choices in the options for my care, and made it clear how I can communicate with him if the need came up. He examined me and went beyond what many other Physicians would have done in evaluating my EKG. I would highly recommend him, and will look forward to seeing him in follow up in the future. Should I ever require an Electrophysiologic procedure in the future, I would feel comfortable in his hands.

My appointment with Dr. Chung was excellent. He was wonderful. My only disappointment was that he wanted to see me in a month and because I'm wearing a monitor and he's going to get the results of the monitor in about three weeks. And when I went to make the appointment, they couldn't give me an appointment because they said he didn't have anything in a month. And so they were going to speak to someone else and... call me back. And as of yet, no one has called me back. So that's a little disappointing. And I don't know what I'm going to do about that now because I don't have an appointment.
