Dr. Coglianese and the staff at MGH are great. The problem is not with the doctors or staff; it is with arriving at MGH and the understaffing at the check-in/check-out desks, due to what I assume are cutbacks. Arriving at MGH was terrible. Fortunately, I allotted extra time as it was nearly impossible to enter the parking garage due to the construction. I feel terrible for those patients who will be late to their appointments and have to undergo undue stress because of your negligence. A solution may be to assign MGH police officers to direct traffic. For an institution that prides itself on customer care, this issue is an abomination. Also, it was evident that cutbacks were affecting the quantity and quality of the check-in and check-out processes. Again, the quality of care I received was amazing, but having to wait in line, and more importantly, to have to see elderly patients with, I assume, heart conditions, waiting in a line that snaked into the hallway is completely unacceptable. You need to do better!

I'd just like to say that I have extreme trust in my provider, Dr. Coglianese. She has followed me and shown me that my health is a priority as far as she's concerned and the treatments that I am about to embark upon will hopefully extend my life.
