The appointment with Dr. Nou was very informative. We went over all my treatment options and steps to follow. He answered all my questions and I have a clear idea of the process. He took the appropriate time to explain everything.

Dr. Nou is the best endocrinologist I've ever had treat my diabetes. He was recommended by a very picky friend who is also a patient of Dr. Nou. Dr. Nou treats you like a friend with a brain and makes sure you understand exactly why you are receiving the treatment you receive, how you can improve on habits and lifestyle to enhance the effects of your treatment, and how your meds work to keep organs from failing. His "bedside manner" is one of relaxed discussion and works to put you at ease so you can actually listen and understand what he is saying, a trait lost on many healers of his generation.

I've been seeing Dr Nou for several years and am very happy with the care I receive. Hes always responsive to my questions.

Always feel heard - thoroughly explains answers to my questions

Dr. Nou was very attentive and has been for the last couple of years. Very, very good at explaining a schedule of events that would occur in terms of both a bone density scan, taking medications, having a reclass infusion. All that was well explained. He had it typed out and printed for me. Excellent way of handling it. Sometimes it can be complicated. So I appreciated that with Dr. Nou. He's been very friendly and he's even been attentive enough to call me to let me know about questions that I have had and to discuss it. Very honest, very straightforward. I would recommend him to other people highly. Thank you.

This was my first visit with Eric Nou as my previous doctor, [redacted], retired. After seeing a doctor for 24 years, it is difficult to go to someone new. However, I would say the office made me feel welcome and I found Dr. Nou to be easy to speak with, attentive, and obviously prepared having reviewed my records beforehabd. I have been with Dr Nou for many years - even before he had to leave his office in Wellesley (which was a better location ) . I feel comfortable to ask any question about my health and will have an answer I can understand without being rushed.

Excellent provider. Listens to my specific life conditions and exposure to in-vitro drug from mother/grandmother, lack of partner and family and its effects on my diabetes, and advises appropriately. Advice is clear and easy to follow, considering I'm on the autism spectrum.

Dr Nou has been keeping track of my thyroid for several years. He is thorough and I have confidence in his abilities to keep me informed about my condition and in good health.

Dr Nou has been treating me for osteoporosis for about 5 years. I find him to be completely transparent - he explains everything about my treatment and welcomes my questions. This appointment was not part of my regular treatment but as a requested visit following a bad fall I sustained [redacted] I live on Cape Cod, but it is absolutely worth the drive to Newton to be treated by Dr. Nou.

It is very difficult to get an appointment!! Almost one year!

Dr. Nou is a wonderful clinician. He is extremely knowledgeable and was interested in answering my questions. He was friendly and had good practical advice too.

I was a new patient for Dr. Nou. Dr. Nou was thoroughly aware of my endocrine and osteoporosis issues. He had done his pre patient overview to be thoroughly familiar with my health history and current issues. I was with Dr. Nou almost an hour during which he patiently explained my options and encouraged me to continue the path that had been prescribed by my current endocrinologist. His reasoning was sound, his patience and bedside manner affirming and humane!

Doctor and nurses were very pleasant and service was excellent.

Even though I was there about my bone density and a broken pelvis in the last winter, he didn't know that. He said I was too busy to look at all his notes about previous things that had happened to me. This was completely unacceptable. [redacted]

He hadn't gathered the testing information he needed (which was on a different health portal, so it took some doing) in advance and had to read the data while on line with us. Ok but the whole point of taking tests in advance is so he can see them and make determinations about what to tell us at the visit. But he seemed great and knowledgeable.
