I went in for my appointment. The office is very clean. Everyone in the office, from the receptionist to the nurses, to the doctors, are very kind. They're gentle. If you can't hear them, they'll speak up and they explain carefully what's going on. I found that the hands-on examination that the doctor gave me was very lovely done and I was extremely satisfied when I left. I will always see this doctor.

Dr. Press is clearly a highly expert and intelligent rheumatologist with state-of-the-art knowledge of her field. Unfortunately her tone of voice and the way she uses her words make her seem superior and scornful. I don't think this necessarily reflects how she really feels, but it is unpleasant. [redacted] This detracts from what could be a very useful doctor-patient relationship. [redacted]

Was already well informed about my situation so it appears she previously reviewed any notes in my chart. Was courteous, concerned and did not rush visit.

Dr. Press is very good and did her best to piece some missing information. My frustration is that there isn't good communication between MGH Brigham medical records and Atrius Health

Yes, I had an appointment with Dr. Emily Press and I think she is fantastic. She is positive and willing to investigate all possibilities. What I really love about her is that she is, she's willing to be wrong. I don't think she is, but she's willing to look at all of the different aspects. She encourages my feedback, she listens well, And I think she's got a wonderful demeanor and she's very positive. And I actually always feel better coming out of an appointment with her.

I was very happy with my care provider/doctor. However, I was quite disappointed with my initial check in with receptionist. I had been told my appt was at 11:30 and arrived in time, despite difficulty in finding the building. She frowned and after finding my name said I was 15 minutes late and that she would have to check if Dr would still see me. She came back and said I was allowed a brief "half" visit and to wait, which I did another 15 minutes. I conscious worked to calm myself down. Upon seeing the doctor, she was delightful and sweetly told me not to worry about the mixup, giving me her full attention.

Dr. Press was very attentive, caring towards my needs, friendly and professional. She is so easy to talk with and very sympathetic to my medical problem. What I admire the most is she has me follow up with a phone call regarding how I was feeling with the change in my medication.
