This was my 1st visit w/ Dr.Roh after waiting 1 year.I am in a wheelchair.I have had 3 mohs surgeries in the past for cancerous lesions. Dr. Roh gave a quick check of my head, arm and back.No magnifying instrument used.She quickly told me my areas I was concerned with are SK and I must see the cosmetic department as insurance would not cover attention to any of my lesions.She then started dictating to someone behind a curtain in the room of her findings for the record. Very strange. As I am wheelchair bound I was going to show her my legs which I hadn't removed my clothes because of my situation that have lesions but was uncomfortable with her approach not taking care of my upper areas therefor I didn't feel she would assess my issues carefully.

Dr. Roh always asks about my family and my work and listens to what I say and engages in conversations about kids, family, work, and more. She's lovely and I enjoy her immensely. At the same time, she is careful and thorough in her scan of my skin to check for changes.

I think Dr. Roh is just terrific. You know, we see her every six months and we do that because of our dermatology issues and Dr. Roh is just terrific.

Unfortunately she really didn't listen to my concerns at all. She abruptly said no there is no other options for treatment..Here is a cream try it. I would have liked for her to look at the extent of my skin disease but she just kept asking is that all? Anything else? Also I was expecting her to check my back and skin for moles, etc. Nope, nothing. The whole appointment was rushed. I was literally in and out of the appointment in 10 minutes. [redacted]

It was a great overall experience.

The doctor and the resident that was with her were more than helpful in explaining and caring of my needs.

The full body exam was short and brief. I was not asked about my history with dermatology and had to initiate a summary before the exam. I mentioned a few concerns and received very brief answers with little explanations regarding the cause or treatment. I had new lumps growing out of my scalp that were dismissed as cosmetic. Although they may not have been precancerous, they were definitely not normal, something that I had never experienced before, and should have been treated as medical. [redacted] Overall, I felt the response to my dermatology condition was dismissive and the appointment rushed.
