Dr. Claus installed a shunt for me back in [redacted]. This was a follow-up. I have the greatest respect for her and this visit was typical. She knew everything that was going on with my health (a lot) and answered my questions and made suggestions. I am grateful that I have access to doctors of this quality.

My visit with Dr. Claus was a pleasant one. She showed quite a lot of interest in my lifestyle and gave me some suggestions on how to ease some of my tension I might be having over my medical problems. And she also suggested that perhaps I could speak with one of the social workers that could give me information on assistance that seniors have that might be available through Brigham and Women's. But my overall visit with her has always been very pleasant and very informative and I'm always at ease when I am in to see her.

Intelligent, personable and concerned - I found Dr. Claus to be a significant change from what I was used to. Her command of the situation and pleasant conversational style inspired confidence. She had a complete grasp of my condition, explained it thoroughly, and formulated a viable plan - all while expressing herself clearly. Truly an exceptional doctor.

Although Brain MRI's are an uncomfortable experience, I always look forward to my visit with Dr. Claus to discuss the results. As usual, we have a good discussion - she explains the results and listens to my concerns. However, she seemed rushed - was 15 min. late for my appointment, and seemed to be in a hurry to get to the next patient ? So, I felt uncomfortable in trying to report my health concerns to her. I missed the much more relaxed visits we've had in the past.
