Overall, I thought she was terrific. Have a whole body dermatology exam can be intimidating, but she made me as comfortable as possible. I have only one little complaint which is that I have multiple chemical sensitivity. She put spritzed an antisceptic lotion on her hands which had a scent that made me uncomfortable. I didn't say anything and it dissipated relatively fast.

Every time I Have had an appointment here - whether it be by a primary care or dermatology ..: I am always rushed and feel like each appointment lasted at the very most 10 minutes. I feel like it's always rushed ... Which is unacceptable

I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment (8:45) from that time until the time the doctor saw me it was 36 minutes. The session with the doctor lasted no more than 4 minutes.

This is my first time at the Dermatology Clinic. The staff that I met there, are all nice and professional. I did meet my care provider for the first time. She asked me about my little lump on my neck that I came to have it removed. Speaking to her, I had questions about it, and she told me about the date and time I will beet another doctor that will be taking care of my procedure. I liked very much her answers to my questions. I felt comfortable with her explanations about my upcoming procedure. I liked her caring and concern in explaining what the procedure will be. I was also observant of the staff at the reception area. Very nice and helpful with information about where I have to go for my upcoming procedure. That's a very busy place with so many patients. Nice place, awesome staff!!

I appreciate the staff making an appointment for me soon after I called the office. Dr. Buzney was respectful of my concerns, and attentive to everything I communicated. Although my issue turned out to be very minor, she explained what was going on and gave detailed instructions of what to do at home, and what to do if the issue did not improve.

I'd never walked into a medical office w/out an appt, but did so at BWH Derm. Dept. when I feared a serious allergic reaction to a BP med I'd begun. I'd hoped for a quick mtg with my regular MD, but it wasn't a clinic day for her. I was prepared to leave, but the kind receptionist contacted Dr. Buzney, who made herself available within minutes. Dr. B. asked focused questions about sequence/timing in how my acute body rash had developed, noting variables, asking about oral and topical meds. She elicited my own narrative, listening carefully as she analyzed and integrated a coherent picture from 3-4 contributing variables. She was remarkably clear and uplifting, reassuring me that I was not in danger of an anaphylactic reaction. I had a subsequent question about an OTC antihistamine; Dr. B. called me herself after-hours to clarify how/when to administer the med, complete with caveats about alternatives, and having ruled out adverse drug interactions. She was remarkable in her scientific reasoning combined with imaginative, creative integration. I've rarely experienced a doctor so skillful at working WITH patients rather than imposing prescriptive thinking. I treasure the experience, understanding the heavy demands on medical doctors currently, and appreciating the genuine care, respect and collaborative problem-solving that Dr. Buzney was able to bring to an acute problem in a very short time frame. As I left, I thanked the receptionist for connecting me with Dr. Buzney. She stopped what she was doing, nodded, and with a smile said "She's brilliant."
