Not to cast aspersions on anyone else, but I've talked to several thoracic surgeons about the issues I'm facing and Dr. Witkowski provided the clearest and most patient-focused responses -- by far -- to my concerns and questions.

Dr Witkowski's is exactly what is needed and desired. A great mix of caring great listening skills and creates a positive experience for his patients

Dr. Witkowski is by far the best doctor I have ever known. He made ample time for the appointment and took all the time I needed to thoroughly answer questions and explain the procedure that I had the week prior. He's very personable, attentive and patient. He talks with his patients in a respectful manner and not the least bit condescending. I remarked to family just today how impressed I was with his willingness to personally visit with me at the most important times before and after my procedure.

I was very impressed with the time the doctor put in before my visit and the time is PA put in to preparing for the visit. Between the two I really felt my history was understood. It was a very good experience.

The doctor is wonderful. I don't even know if I would still be here to this day. He did a procedure on me, it was about two years ago, that I was told couldn't be done. And he did it, no problem. And he was very concerned, very caring. I definitely get the feeling he cares. He cares about his people. He's not the only one. at Mass General and there's some fantastic doctors there. Dr. Witkowski is absolutely one of my favorite doctors there because he cares and he knows his stuff.

Office staff found time on short notice to see me. Dr. Witkowski spent 45min-1hr with me, going over what has been described as a unique case, examining me, reviewing scans with me. I have been struggling to find care for this issue for months, and Dr. Witkowski has shown a level of confidence and competency that makes me feel like it'll finally be resolved.

The film provided to me to see my innards was excellent. Never saw one as good. He was very, he spoke about everything that I needed to know. He was just eloquent in his speech. And I would not hesitate to have him forward to a friend.

He was very, very nice to me and my family. I brought my son and my daughter with me. He explained as much as he could for me to understand being my age and not knowing exactly my problem. That's all I can say about it, but I would recommend him to anybody. I have seen many doctors and he is number one in my books. That is all I have to say.

Providers understand what i need and i would recommend friends and family to pick Ma General Hospital if they have health concerned or issues.
