I have been seeing Dr. Michna for years and he is so professional. He knows exactly what's going on with me [redacted]

I really appreciated the thorough questions from the nurse, NP/PA (?) and Dr. Michna. They all listened to the issue, provided and exam and recommended the right tests to try to resolve the problem. I felt heard.

Yes, I would like to say that Dr. MICHNA is a great doctor. He explains everything to me. He listens to my problems and things that I have, any changes that I have in my medical history or what I'm going through at the time. He's a very good doctor, very understanding, very courteous on everything that he speaks with you about and he usually he takes care of any needs that I have.

Dr. Michna is kind, knowledgeable and informative. He gave me all the time I needed and I left his office knowing more about my pain options than before I went in. I see him for my Multiple Sclerosis ( neuropathy) and my bad back ( root blocks) . He is a very good doctor In my opinion; he is also very easy to talk to.

I wish my provider was there with me the day of the procedure, but because he or she was not and their coworker was there, I was a little frightened. I had a seizure and I was like out of it. So I just wish that I would have knew that my provider was not coming.

Dr Michna runs a very organized professional operation. Nonsense is not tolerated. He is the best I have had based upon 39 surgeries to date. I have dealt with associates technicians ets He listens explains and is willing to listen to suggestion worries and personal concerns

He was great but when I read my report under Visits on Patient Gateway it listed the wrong side where my pain is. It is on my left side not my right.

It took a little while to get to know Dr. Michna, but he turned out to be a very good doctor and a very good person.

He showed up 45 minutes to my appointment, laughed at me, and said he couldn't do anything because I didn't have proper testing for a diagnosis. But didn't say what tests I need or helped me navigate ordering them

She takes her time and listens to me very carefully and any problems I have. She takes seriously and follows them up with cute. Great care.

It is good, respectful and efficient history taking to ask open ended questions and then, without interrupting listen to the patient's story/account. Dr Michma could work on this ! He seems like a great doctor who finds it hard not to interrupt which is a pity as it sets a poor tone and slows down the transfer of information from patient to provider

Edward MICHNA, as we say had very bad bed manner with me that day. He was in the room for exactly 1 minute and 45 seconds, just to tell me that he wouldn't treat me after listening to what his assistant reported to him without me being present at the time. I told him I am in serious pain since [redacted] Dr MICHNA without even listening to what I had to say told me bluntly that I had a chronic condition and I had to deal with it. I told him I don't want to live with a chronic condition [redacted] He told me "Get an MRI, Millions of Americans live with chronic pain! DEAL WITH IT!! and he walked away without saying goodbye or thank you. NOTHING!! Very rude. That whole visit with him I waited months to see him lasted 1 minute and 45 seconds. [redacted] I'm supposed to have a follow up with him, Dr MICHNA in about two weeks or so, I'm not comfortable seeing him at all. I rather have a different opinion from a doctor with more empathy toward his/her patients. Thank you. [redacted] PS Maybe he had a bad day or was overworked or what not, but still no excuses for his manners.

The office of Dr. Michna was the best experience I've had at Brigham & Women's Hospital in a very long time. Receptionists, Appointment Clerks, medical technicians, all were kind, communicated clearly, seemed interested in their jobs and looked and behaved in a professional manner. Very satisfied.

[redacted] Dr Michna was not what I would say showed the most interest in creating an experience in which, a patient would feel, seen, understood and leave feeling educated about the procedure etc. He wasnt rude or anything at all, and maybe he was having a bad day. I appreciated his bluntness,though surprised by his response. I would suggest more education about the [redacted] procedure, regarding day of and post op and next day. I have been on line so I had alotvof information. Other procedures, operation I experienced a much more comprehensive experience.

The doctor was very rude to me as he was leaving. He told me not to wait so long the next time. I only booked the appointment according to what the doctor had told me to do. I have no way of knowing how much medicine is in the pump. I thought he was very rude to." discipline." me!

I've had three procedures done with Dr. Michna, and I like him very much. He's done a very good job. The only thing I'd like to say is I wish after the procedure he would talk with the patient, me, to just see if there were anything, any questions that I had. Although the nurse did that, he did not. And it would be nice for him to kind of have a little exit conversation, that's all. Thank you.

I felt that the appointment was a waste of time. I was hoping to get some help to alleviate the pain I am having and have had for months. Nothing was really done or provided. It was a bit disappointing.

Had to ask to be examined. Had to ask him to look at my X-rays. When I asked him about the pain the my thigh muscles he told me to see a doctor!!! Only wanted to inject my knee joint-[redacted]

The questions re nurses and several others, didn't quite fit and no room for me to ??? Or reply, but thanks for asking! My situation was not challenging, and I wasn't there for pain.

I came to the pain clinic to have an expert review of my scans from another hospital and for their explanation of what they saw on those scans and how that may or may not be an issue to me. I traveled from out of state and this provider only read 1 of 3 MRI reports and did not look at any scans. He did not ask me any questions, he did not ask me to tell my story of my back issues or pain. He was dismissive and clearly did not want to spend time with me as he had already written me off as "fine". I might very well be fine, but what I was looking for was someone to explain all the findings on the MRIs and help me understand what was going on. He did not do that, and it probably would have taken him less than 15 minutes. Instead he spent maybe 5 minutes with me (probably less). The fact that he didn't even both to read the MRI reports alone is an issue. [redacted]

Dr. Michna is a true professional. He is kind and personable and absolutely has a medical background and knowledge base that far surpasses others in his field.

Had no clue who I was or why I was there. My MRI results weren't available to him because he didn't request it. He said it was my responsibility to get it to him? Even if it was, he didn't check me out in any way. Just told me to come back when they are ready. Didn't ask questions, did try to offer consultation or any bit of query. I drove 1.5 hours to be seen for 35 seconds. That's not hyperbole. [redacted]

Personable, forthcoming, but very brief interaction with no awareness that this is a first appointment with a probable new Dx (and asked no info about. me tho' I offered it) and, as such, I needed to start beginning to understand my condition and the way ahead for treatment. He and his ?resident interacted well, but I wanted teaching also from this dr. Not a bad interaction at all, complete instruementaly but short on education and support.

Not only did i get a timely appointment (via a cancellation) but the provider was timely, direct, knowledgeable and had a wonderful manner.
