Dr. has common sense which is an aspect of treatment / medical care that doesn't come with education. He is able to understand and trouble shoot quickly and make a determination as to what possibly may be needed, explain the thought process so I understand and move forward. I had an urgent need for an appointment with Dr. Patton and was more than pleased that I was able to be seen within one day of the referral request from my PCP. Dr. Patton listened to my concerns and was able to make a diagnosis and provide a treatment plan that has already shown to be effective. He is one of the best physicians that I have encountered in the MGB network. The staff was friendly and courteous at every stage of my visit.

He was willing to discuss non-gyn questions that I had and provided helpful information. He also renewed a prescription that was needed. That was much appreciated, as well as his nice bedside manner.

I have liked every provider I have seen in this practice for OBGYN. Dr. Patton very approachable doctor, and gives off a sense of comfort listening to your concerns. He approaches questions with thoughtful answers that apply to my specific body and lifestyle needs. I am now menopausal and have found that a specific provider with that training in another practice has been a better fit, but I trust Dr. Patton with my overall health and exam process.

Dr.Patton was the 1st doctor to actually listen to me about the amount of pain I was in. I spent almost 20 yrs dealing with fibroids & endometriosis with no one believing I was actually in pain like I was. Within 2 visits he had me scheduled for surgery. I was in almost no pain right after the surgery & have been able to finally live my life pain free. It's not something I ever thought would be possible. I would recommend this practice to anyone. Especially anyone who has given up on ever feeling better. Dr. Patton has changed my life & I can't be more thankful.

Doctor Patton was a beacon of light when I needed healthcare and had serious lack of access previously. He was so understanding, never probed me about any personal history that was unnecessary - which helped me come to a revelation after having so many weeks and months of being made to feel uncomfortable, unserved, invisible. I actually first spoke to him when I called an operator on the weekend about an important appointment and he was so patient, while the operator suggested that maybe any Doctor Who speaks to me will not be patient with me if my signal is not good. I would go to Dr. Patton again, however for this next procedure, because his schedule is so booked I'll see another doctor. I highly recommend him though. He's very sensitive and trauma informed I believe.

I needed the expert care of Dr. Patton and medical assistant Lindsey--- they were terrific and helped me focus on my breathing during a short but intense procedure.

Very professional and also able to connect with me as a person. I only saw this doctor because the doctor I see was not available until later. He seemed pressed for time, the waiting room was full, but gave me his full attention. I am grateful that the staff fit me in. On short notice.

This was a painful procedure, but that was unavoidable. I wish that we had discussed pain control, even though I know the research is iffy on whether it is helpful. The notes said that we discussed what impacts to expect the IUD to have on my cycle, but I don't think we did. Since this was a complicated insertion and I had already had conversations about it with the referring doctor, I am not particularly concerned about this. It is also possible that he covered it very quickly and I just forgot because I was focused on getting through the procedure. We had attempted the procedure a few days before, and I'm fairly certain that he had not told me I needed a full bladder for this second attempt with ultrasound guidance. The portal did tell me that, but since it always says that even for transvaginal ultrasounds where it is not necessary, that wasn't helpful. Overall, Dr Patton was kind, attentive, and friendly. He communicated clearly and let me know what was happening in real time. He got me this appointment on very short notice so I wouldn't have an issue with insurance as I change jobs. I appreciate that.
