Extremely knowledgeable and thorough with detailed explanations. Showed great interest in my complex case and medical history. Was factual and straightforward with information and showed great interest in understanding and troubleshooting my questions. I look forward to working with him in hopes of gaining a better understanding of my rare diseases.

Dr. WESEMANN was very courteous and looked at all aspects of my condition. I felt that he went far beyond the allotted time and taking a very careful approach to looking into my medical situation.

I thought he was excellent. He saw me right away. He had great advice. He was super knowledgeable and positive in every way.

Nice guy but totally unprepared for the appointment. As a new patient with an extensive and complicated medical history this was unacceptable. [redacted] While he was super nice , the appointment was a complete waste of time and money .

[redaction] no introduction, did not allow me to introduce myself -Inadequate explanation of why lab abnormalities are not important -bristling when presented with valid questions and requests for clarification -Dismissed valid questions as "internet stuff." implying i lacked merit -patronizing explainations of basic terms like IG stands for immunoglobulin, revealing a dismissive view of my understanding -Response given to me after objection to dismissal: "I'm an immunologist; this is what I do for a living." no explanation [redacted]

Provider didn't seem prepared for the visit, was dismissive of my concerns, told me pursuing a dignosis was useless because even if confirmed there was nothing doctors could do for me. Bullied me for doing genetic testing on my own because it "always shows something and everyone gets anxious". I felt bullied and dismissed in so many ways.

Yes, when I came down from Maine to see this provider, Dr. Wesemann, I was treated with respect from the minute we walked in the door in a timely fashion through the appointment itself. I felt listened and respected and I felt like appropriate steps were taken by the doctor to help me get back on track. I deeply appreciate the time and thoroughness and attention to detail.

He was vey thorough and answered all my questions. He had a medical student who was very informative and respectful and also responded in a professional and kind manner to my questions. They spent a good amount of time with me discussing my options until I was comfortable with the treatment plan.
