This was my first time meeting this doctor and I was surprised that he understood my situation. He had read relevant portions of my medical history and knew about my cancer diagnosis, scan results, and treatments, including my prescriptions. He explained an incidental finding from one of my scans and how it contributed to the problem I was having.

I can't say enough about Dr. Douglas Fritz. He is a wonderful human, a well as a wonderful doctor. He understands me very well. He is so helpful and respectful. I 100% LOOK FORWARD to every time I have to go there. I have degenerative disc disease and host of other issues with my spine. He is the ONLY doctor that has ever steered to me specialists. I love coming to mass general Brigham I'm glad I have made the change from last practice ?

This was my first time meeting Dr. Fritz. My only complaint was that I had a 9 AM appointment and I was ignored for about half an hour. I was told to go to the examine room early which I appreciated. The Medical Assistant saw me promptly, in fact she completed her intake by 9. Then I waited, and waited. After 20 minutes I knocked on the locked door - there was no answer. I knocked again and still no answer. So I went into the hallway and walked up to the 3 ladies at the desk and asked if they could please send a message that I was still waiting. Finally, at just about 9:30 Dr. Fritz came in. One of the reasons I like early morning appointments is to avoid just these sorts of delays. I appreciate that all providers have other patients with varying levels of need but if the doctor is delayed at least the MA or someone else should have checked in with me after 10 mins and advised. It was inconsiderate of my time and my effort to get there early. That being said, I was very pleased with Dr. Fritz - a good listener, "down to earth" approach, knowledgeable, and overall just felt very comfortable with him. I look forward to having him as my provider. Thanks for listening.

He spent plenty of time reviewing my history and medical concerns. I never felt rushed; he took the time to carefully listen and made excellent recommendations. After this visit I have made him my primary care physician. I have also recommended him to several friends.

I liked the DR almost immediately. He was easy to talk to, listen to our concerns, and spent almost an hour with myself and my husband.
