I was recently diagnosed with Breast cancer [redacted]. After my lumpectomy with MGB in Boston, I chose to go with MGB in Danvers for my radiation. I was so happy after my first appointments with Dr. Derek Chism and RN [redacted], these two were part of the medical staff who would care for my needs. They are both so caring, professional, great listeners, making me feel most comfortable and explaining everything to me in a way I could understand and giving me the time to ask any questions. I would highly recommend Dr Chism and Nurse [redacted] to anyone in need of care who are empathetic and knowledgeable.

Dr. Chism is a fabulous physician who takes the time to answer all of your questions and does so in a very comprehensible manner. He translates the general information directly to my situation and explains everything. He has the best bedside manner and is very easy to talk to. He takes the time to review my test results prior to seeing me and appears to be up to speed on what has been happening to me in the interim. Just cannot say enough good things about him. I feel very lucky to have him as my radiologist.

Dr Chism was well prepared with my previous surgery, imaging and test results. It was obvious that he had prepared ahead of time. I also felt that Dr Chism mapped out all possible scenarios for treatment including all side effects. After meeting with him, my wife and I felt informed and in control of the decision for my treatment. Our consultation left me feeling confident in my treatment ahead.
