i left with a clear understanding of my condition and what the options are down the road. we had an informative conversation and all my questions were clearly addressed in a compassionate manner.

[redacted] He is clearly brilliant, but his bedside manner lacked compassion and basic listening skills. I take pride in my health literacy and my investment in working closely with my providers. For this reason, I was taken aback when I explained to Dr. Jin why I was concerned about certain approaches to my condition being proposed. It felt to me that he was viewing me as non-compliant, which is the farthest from the truth. [redacted]

I didn't request this appointment. My GI doctor had reached out to the pancreas clinic for some follow-up advice on my MRI results. Instead of consulting with my doctor, Dr. Jin's office required that I have a virtual visit. Then Dr. Jin seemed confused as to why I had the appointment. He also has no bedside manner. The purpose of the visit was a pancreas consultation, but he was totally unaware that I had had severe pancreatitis in 2020. [redacted]

Dr Jin was easy to chat with and answered all my questions clearly. Thank you, Dr Jin, for your expertise.

Dr Jin did go over my file before seeing me. He took over for my doctor who left Brigham and he was up on the previous MRIs and was also up on my last colonoscopy done at a different hospital. And, said if I needed him, he would see me.

I thought Dr. Jin was very cordial, very thorough, easy to talk to, and I thought a very good doctor.

Dr Jin was very clear and thorough in his explanation of my cysts. He was also reassuring and willing to listen to my concerns.

The Doctor is knowledgeable but I felt like he deferred back to the 1st Doctor without deeper diagnosis. I would not say he was dismissive of my explanation, but his alternate theory was not empathetic of what it could mean or what might be a possible treatment of his theory was true. [redacted]
