David Ralph Cave, MD, PhD

I live about an hour away and I reached out to a doctor in that group and was lucky to find Dr. Cave after I saw some very positive reviews. I see several doctors for other reasons and by far he has taken every bit of time needed. He has listened and has truly helped with my medical conditions. I wish I lived closer. I did go to him for a second opinion and now I will stay with him as a primary GI doctor.

I found Dr. Cave very knowledgeable about my condition as well as mindful of my age. This was a second opinion. The prior one wanted to have major surgery without an objective other than "to see what seems to be the matter there." This, given my age, was not attractive to me, because I had had a similar one in 2022 that took many months to heal (the scar). Dr. Cave recommended a state of observation and care that would use that kind of surgery only if my status changed radically. I appreciated that. He was very reassuring.

The medical assistant that I saw at the beginning of my appointment was EXCELLENT. She was helpful and respectful in answering some questions that I had about how to take my blood pressure, and was able to accomodate my request to take my blood pressure manually instead of with the machine. I felt listened to and respected by her.

Once you get into see Dr Cave he is wonderful to communicate with. Worth the original wait thorough and sweet man
