The fellow took the time to explain my EKG and answered my questions. Dr. Farmer similarly explained my EKG and options for further treatment if needed. Twice he asked me if I had questions. A good listener who provides plain English answers.

He is very kind and caring. Always puts me at ease. Is very thorough in explaining issues with me.

Dr Farmer seemed bored with me and kept repeating my age. He directed most of his comments to the person who brought me. At. One point he thought he should listen to my heart and came towards me but didn't do it. [redacted]

Good experience

Dr Farmer was thorough, answered all my questions and explained treatment options for my asymptomatic AFib. He also offered to take any questions or concerns through the portal. I left his office feeling reassured and in good hands.

In the past, at another non-MGH facility, my sense was that I was being treated as a part of a general population. At MGH I felt that I was being treated as an individual with individual needs - a much more preferred situation. I'm very pleased that I changed medical facilities.

Dr. Farmer is one of the most professional, excellent doctors that I've had during my lifespan. He's an excellent listener, has great bedside manner, he's knowledgeable, he is a great listener, and anybody who has him assigned as their primary cardiologist is a lucky person.

He explained the different options they were for my treatment, in a way I could understand.

During this current visit, tje receptionists in 5E were friendly & easy to talk with upon arrival. I have been going to this department for many years & the check in staff has not been friendly in the past. Seems to be a whole new group of check in people this past time.
