Was suggestive and I did not feel he fully listened to what I had to say. Seemed to profile me based off of the notes from the resident, then not care to listen to what I had to say. [redacted]

I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Perez. He's a fantastic provider. I've seen him for maybe four years and I do have functional neurological disorder, which is something that is often misdiagnosed and it tends to be a length of time before obtaining a diagnosis and often it is kind of dismissed by the provider. So once I was able to see Dr. Perez, I felt validated. He's extremely compassionate, very knowledgeable, and he has set up my care now at Mass General. I go weekly for CBT. Since going, I was completely on disability and I'm now back to working one day a week. I'm a registered nurse and I work in New Hampshire. And I would definitely attribute my ability to actually overcome so many things in the care I received at Mass General to my ability now to go back to work, return to work. [redacted]

Dismissed his previous diagnosis from 7 months ago without really explanation. Ordered new tests but didn't seem engaged in finding a solution to my problem

Dr. David Perez is the most remarkable doctor I have ever met. He came to greet me at the waiting area, and from the moment I met him, it was an amazing experience. He took the time to listen, provide valuable information, and share his diagnosis in a professional and knowledgeable way. I am so grateful to be his patient! I really like Dr. David Perez. He was the one that diagnosed me with FND, though I think there's some still learning to know more about FND, which I already am informed about, but I think neurology needs to be all up with all the new findings. for FND. Thank you.
