The only thing that I can comment on is that there seem to be different approaches to treat Menieres disease, and there is no consensus. Seems more theoretical based on who you are seeing.

I waited months to see Dr. Jung and felt very dismissed by him at my appointment. His exam included a period of questions that he asked me, followed by a look in my ears. Nothing more. Then, he recommended other appointments to make and said he was sorry he couldn't help me. I left feeling unclear about the visit and upset at his lack of care and concern. [redacted]

Dr David Jung was referred to me by my Sinus Dr [redacted]. Dr Jung is a very knowledgeable , caring provider who showed genuine corcern for my hearing issues. He explained everything very well. I would recommend him highly!

Dr. Jung was personable, but didn't seem to take my medical complaint very seriously and didn't offer many good solutions for the problem. There have been other things that I've recently learned and discovered that could be contributing to the problem, and none of those things were asked about. So I feel like he could have done a more thorough job or could have been more well-versed at recommending other interventions to try.

I was beyond impressed with my provider. I'm a new patient of his and he took the time to review my record prior to my appointment. He took as much time as needed for me to understand what I am going trough. I had so many questions and he never showed even the slightest bit of annoyance. My visit with Dr. David Jung last week was very, very, very good. From the minute I started the appointment with him, he completely had reviewed my medical records, completely confirmed the autosclerosis diagnosis and the stapedectomy procedure being very appropriate for me, walked me through all of the risks of the procedure and the potential benefits. He clearly knew what he was talking about. I have every confidence that the procedure will go very well, and I'm very pleased to be getting my care at Mass Eye and Ear.

He seemed very thorough , and smart but he talked so fast I had trouble understanding and a bit intimidated from asking all my questions. While the doctor wasn't able to treat me, this doctor did refer me to one that could. It was the first hope I have had in over two years dealing with my condition. My appointment was at [redacted] and I wasn't seen until [redacted]. Extremely unacceptable. Dr. apologized quickly, yet wasn't apologetic, per se. No signs of accountability. Then he spent less than 10 minutes with me, asked a couple of questions, looked in both ears, and prescribed me a medication. [redacted] Also, the Dr did not inform me of medication details, including dosage/timeframe. Oh well, the box says twice per day, but doesn't mention for how long.

Dr Jung was the first, besides my primary, to give me a complete explanation in regards to my problem. Yes, I'd drive off Cape again, for an exam with Dr Jung.

His attitude seemed to be "here is an older woman with a fairly common problem that I don't think warrants much attention."
