Dr. Jung was personable, but didn't seem to take my medical complaint very seriously and didn't offer many good solutions for the problem. There have been other things that I've recently learned and discovered that could be contributing to the problem, and none of those things were asked about. So I feel like he could have done a more thorough job or could have been more well-versed at recommending other interventions to try.

He gave me questions to ask so I feel prepared when I talk to someone about hearing aids. And he was warm and kind. So I was thoroughly satisfied and delighted with my visit with him.

Given the complexity of my history, I would have preferred clearer communication and a more integrated approach to continuity of care. Overall, the interaction was polite, but I did not feel that my past experiences, complications, or long-term needs were fully incorporated into the visit.

I think the doctor Jung is like, he understands his patients and how to approach them. He's a good listener. And, you know, just he has a great explanation about the situation and he calms down, you know, just saying, you know, the patient by looking at the patient is medical history and the currency problem. I was beyond impressed with my provider. I'm a new patient of his and he took the time to review my record prior to my appointment. He took as much time as needed for me to understand what I am going trough. I had so many questions and he never showed even the slightest bit of annoyance. Instead, he was so kind, caring, and incredibly easy to interact with. He went through each and every note I had with an outside provider as well as read each one of my scans. He was amazing and I won't ever go to another ear doctor.

My visit with Dr. David Jung last week was very, very, very good. From the minute I started the appointment with him, he completely had reviewed my medical records, completely confirmed the autosclerosis diagnosis and the stapedectomy procedure being very appropriate for me, walked me through all of the risks of the procedure and the potential benefits. He clearly knew what he was talking about. I have every confidence that the procedure will go very well, and I'm very pleased to be getting my care at Mass Eye and Ear.

He seemed very thorough , and smart but he talked so fast I had trouble understanding and a bit intimidated from asking all my questions. I am almost deaf and it was so fast and I'm also not very good at hearing or asking questions. While the doctor wasn't able to treat me, this doctor did refer me to one that could. It was the first hope I have had in over two years dealing with my condition. My appointment was at [redacted] and I wasn't seen until [redacted]. Extremely unacceptable. Dr. apologized quickly, yet wasn't apologetic, per se. No signs of accountability. Then he spent less than 10 minutes with me, asked a couple of questions, looked in both ears, and prescribed me a medication. [redacted] Also, the Dr did not inform me of medication details, including dosage/timeframe. Oh well, the box says twice per day, but doesn't mention for how long.

Dr Jung was the first, besides my primary, to give me a complete explanation in regards to my problem. Yes, I'd drive off Cape again, for an exam with Dr Jung.

Dr Jung appeared to want my appointment to be concluded as quickly as possible, and didn't seem to have much interest in helping me with my issues. His attitude seemed to be "here is an older woman with a fairly common problem that I don't think warrants much attention." Dr Jung has outstanding credentials, based on which I place tremendous trust in him. But his clinic seems extremely busy, each time always Very Late for appt time; but I do understand and will give deference to Dr for his busy tasks. What disappointed me somewhat is that, after my appt was late for an hour, when he finally came to see me, he seemed to rush me over, did not even give me an opportunity to ask question. Maybe the Dr is so excellent in skills that he is over-tasked.
