Dr. Thut is a wonderful doctor. I have seen him for many issues and has always been a caring, knowledgeable doctor. I trust him fully ! He explains everything in a way a non medical person understands.

Dr Thut explained to me all the details of my issues and advised me about the importance of physical therapy and follow up.

Dr Thut was already 45 min behind (at least) when I saw him [redacted] and came in like a hurricane with 3 other people, jumped in and was clearly hoping he could make up some of his lateness in my appt. He was jittery and jumpy and eager to leave. He spoke very fast and seemed annoyed I had questions. Some of the info he provided surprised me even after having seen him 1.5 yrs ago and watched every single video on his site prior to my visit. It threw me for a loop. And he seemed annoyed with me for asking more. THis experience was VERY different from when I met him 1.5 years ago where he was relaxed, open, courteous and patient. This is why I came back here when ready to move ahead w the replacement. Honestly if this had been my first experience I would never agree to the surgery here. As it is, I am uncomfortable w my decision - not a great way to approach major surgery. Hoping this was a one -off experience.

This was the first time I saw Dr Thut . He was very kind and knowledgeable. He had reviewed all the appointments and past X-rays and MRI's I already had . After a few exercises with my feet and knees , he ordered a hip X-ray which I was surprised to find out that my left hip was full of arthritis . I did not know that it could cause my knee issues . That could explain why there wasn't really enough arthritis in my knee to warrant further exploration in my knee but rather to explore my hip . That certainly was not on my radar . That's why I rate him a 10 because there isn't a 100

When I arrived I was told the doctor was running about 20 minutes behind. But I was pleasantly surprised to be seen with very little delay. Very grateful for the team working together to keep the doctor on schedule.

I understand that Dr Thut has a job to do and apparently handled my surgery as best as could be. When I was at St. Anne's Rehab, I received many positive comments about how my surgical site looked. When speaking about my physical therapy, I felt that he was a bit too tough when giving him my answers. I left that session feeling a bit discouraged.

The only reason I answered "yes, mostly" was because he was running a little late due to another patient's concerns. Dr Thut spends the time necessary to make his patients feel as comfortable as possible.

Dr. Thut was prepared to speak with me about my knee. He was happy to talk about all previous tests and give solid information for his prescribed plan of action. I have been a patient at seacoast orthopedics for many years and I have only had the very best care. Dr. Thut is the only orthopedic doctor I would ever go to. He is a Doctor Who takes time with his patients and makes sure that they understand The expectations and the follow through that would be taking place. Knee replacement surgery is a major surgery, but he took the time to guide me through it and answer any questions or concerns that I had.
