Open seeing Dr.Pratt for about 8 yrs now and he actually worked with me all along to help me get the medicine I needed to cure my HepC. He's a wonderful man and a wonderful doctor, very caring very personable, love him!

Dr. Pratt always shows a lot of empathy and genuine interest in your condition. He clearly does a lot of preparation and comes to meeting very knowledgeable about your history. He builds your confidence up as a patient and is extremely positive building your confidence in your health care status. He even shared personal anectodes as example of what you're experiencing as a patient. He is so upbeat! I've lost three providers to retirement and moving on at the Brigham and he offers stability and help finding a new provider if I can't at the Brigham. I'm very lucky to have Dr Pratt over seeing my care.

Well, this doctor is a professional doctor who has treated me very well and I always see him once a year because he cured me of my illness and he has always treated me very friendly and yes, and he knows what he's doing.

I was greeted promptly and politely and checked in very quickly by receptionist. I was also quickly called back by [redacted], a fairly new medical assistant to perform a fibroscan. [redacted] was VERY pleasant and had a wonderful personality. [redacted] I then saw Dr. Pratt, who is amazing. He is extremely personable, reads the chart in advance and makes you feel like he has known you his whole life. He does not make you feel rushed, explains things and answers any and all questions. It is rare to find a doctor like Dr. Pratt anymore and I am fortunate to have found him. I was then personally walked out to the scheduler, [redacted] by Dr. Pratt. [redacted] was also extremely friendly and helpful to me. She made sure all ends were tied up and made sure I understood my instructions. Dr. Pratt has kept me from needing a liver transplant. He checks everything to be sure I'm doing good. He is a great doctor and wonderful person.

Dr. Pratt is the 3rd specialist I have seen for these issues that began in 2003, and he is the best by a wide margin. He always takes time to explain everything, and we look at any image results together. But he also shows a genuine interest in my life & well-being...listens as I describe things that concern me and can have an impact on my overall health. In that regard, he is the best doctor I've ever had. When my previous specialist, the department head of another well-known hospital who had been treating me for ~10 years, referred me to a colleague to free him up for more lecture travel, I decided it was a good time to shift my care to another institution, perhaps gain a wider perspective. I found the dept. at MGH, headed by Dr. Pratt, who I met by chance between his appointments, when I visited his office to survey its "atmosphere"...I introduced myself, that I was considering transferring my treatment there...he was very upbeat, authentic in his enthusiasm...and continues so as my doctor. And he displays great empathy as well. He's very easy to talk to, and I never feel rushed, or like he's "got one foot out the door."

I have been a patient of Dr. Pratt's for quite a while now and he is wonderful and I tell everyone I know about him. There are not to many doctors who care for people like Dr. Pratt does.

Dr. Pratt is always very positive when talking with me. He greets me with a big smile, looks in my eyes as he speaks. He tells me how he sees things based on labs and ultrasounds and ask me how I feel things are. When I originally thought things were pretty dire, (my first trip to Mass General) he clearly spoke on how things could go. With every scenario he assured me that issues could and would be dealt with no matter what directions the scenario went. It was very reassuring that I was in great capable hands that are coupled with compassion and intelligence. He also acts fast in communicating with my local physicians to be sure they are updated on his take on my current condition and what I should have done locally and in what time frame. He personally escorts me to [redacted] to check out and she aptly arranges appointments for me as prescribed by Dr. Pratt and in time frames that work for me. [redacted] is friendly and personable just as Dr. Pratt. They make my appointment more a like visits to friends or family that I have entrust for guidance in negotiating my healthcare journey. It is a very positive and reassuring event. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Pratt and that he was able to taken me on as a patience. I was personally referred to him by my local gastroenterologist Dr. [redacted]. She seemed elated for me by the news that I was going to be seen by Dr. Pratt himself, thus showing that his well established reputation preceded my scheduled appointment with him. As you can see, I can't say enough good about Dr. Pratt and his necessary guidance for my living with liver disease.

He's extremely personable and caring. Knows my history and keeps up with all of my medical care. He's the best!!
