I have a history with Dr. Kotler who was recommended to me when I was in a lot of pain. The initial visit was the beginning of continued visits. With NO PRESSURE for an injection from Dr. Kotler, I continued PT, which was not helpful. With compassionate explanations to help my fear of a spinal injection, Dr. Kotler was a gem! I was really scared. Dr. Kotler explained everything and I trusted her to the point I had three injections over time to remain pain free until my surgery which was a must. I should have had the shots earlier!

It was clear Dr.Kotler is an expert in her field. She discussed options with me, prescribed a medication no one else had thought to and asked me to make a follow-up appointment with her. She also told me to contact her if I either wanted a cortisone injection or needed to see her sooner .

But I have been going to her for many issues over many years, and I always value how she looks at problems and the way she assesses and offers possible solutions and care. I felt a big difference in the way Dr. Kotler, acknowledged the problems that I am suffering with in my legs post knee surgery, and after 6 months of post surgical pain. She made me feel that my pain was legitimate, and recommended possible solutions that she could offer through her office, such as a knee brace, different types of injections, and their usefulness.
