It is an honor to rate this Eye Doctor. ALWAYS very thankful for having the very best -Dr.Courtney Ondeck- for my husband's eye care and eye health with having glaucoma. We drive to Ma. Eye in Boston, for his care with her from Vermont. Dr. Ondeck always puts her patients first. She seems to know the questions a patient has concerns about before asking. The patient is never rushed. She is very patient, skilled and precise when in comes to diagnosing, and making the plans that need to be put forth. Always explaining in detail what and why she recommends what the next step should be. She has a wonderful way of helping patients feel very comfortable. Dr. Ondeck really listens and allows the patient to be educated on their eye issue and eye health so they may be part of the decision making process. If options are there they are very well explained. This patient is blind in one eye due to a previous eye stroke. It is imperative to keep his other eye in the best health it can be. Dr Ondeck is doing everything possibly to keep this patient hopeful for that. A thorough testing regimen is done prior to and during the Dr.'s exam also with great staff. Dr.Ondeck has been my main eyecare provider for many months. I am very pleased with all my visits with her. Always got meticulous care and courteous treatment from her. So did my wife who accompanies me on all visit due to my hearing difficulty. Couldn't ask for a better specialist !

We waited 45 minutes in the office before the Dr. came in. She did not even apologize for the very long wait. It was very obvious she was in a hurry and barely interacted with me. She just looked at my eyes and test results.

Dr Ondeck is an outstanding doctor. She is careful, thoughtful, listens to the specific issues as they arise. I have no question about referring others to her.

Dr. Ondeck has been dealing with me for 5 years and has always been a great doctor to me, and an even better person, even the times when I probably didn't deserve it. For me, it has always been hard to trust people, but from day one, she earned it and i have not regretted it since. She has always put all my health risks and concerns first since I've known her. Hopefully Mass E&E understands how lucky they are to have an incredible human being and doctor working with them everyday, the way her patients do. Word of advice, NEVER lose her.

The Dr was absolutely fantastic. She was compassionate.

No information came to me unless I asked. I provided some historical test data and she replied "this is helpful" but never described how it was helpful. She referred to my eye meds by the color of the caps, as if the drug names were too complex for me. My questions seemed like an imposition to her.

Dr Ondeck is very competent and capable at managing my glaucoma. This is the best ophthalmology care I have ever received. I recommend Mass Eye and Ear to many people. I consider myself very fortunate to live a reasonable distance from Foxboro so that I can be a patient of Mass Eye and Ear.

The medical technician who assisted me was very good at educating me about aspects of my care. She answered my questions and took the opportunity to elaborate on best practices.
