I didn't know Dr. Dawson when I scheduled this appointment. She was one of the orthopedic doctors available in a short period of time and would be able to evaluate my situation and send me for further testing if necessary. So, what followed was very fortunate for me. I arrived quite early for my x-rays, was taken in early and then sent to Dr. Dawson 's waiting area and then her exam room. Within a few minutes, Dr. Dawson came into the exam room and we started talking about my knee. She examined it again and then we discussed what's wrong and what's next. She was very friendly and explained her evaluation of my situation very clearly. She gave me her card and a time frame to return if necessary. I feel fortunate having her as a doctor, especially since I had no knowledge of her beforehand. I liked her very much...... her way of relating to a patient (me in this case), was something I look for. Definitely a positive experience.

I had a great experience with the provider. And however, even the provider said, why am I here just for one knee and why am I seeing just a knee specialist? So I was definitely referred improperly to her. I should have been referred to an orthopedic doctor because it's every joint in my body, every place in my body, and they only did an x-ray of my left knee, which made no sense because I needed an x-ray for both legs. So that's the only issue there. But even the provider said that too. But she is a great provider and I would definitely recommend her. Her niece to anybody who has a knee problem.
