I have confidence in Dr. Shi. Dr. Shi explains things clearly and thoroughly. I feel reassured knowing that she is my dermatologist.

Dr. Shi is extremely thorough and also very professional. At the same time, she has a very nice demeanor and helps you relax and be comfortable during the entire experience.

Knowlegeable. Had to wait 15 min to see her

The doctor was kind and respectful. However, the appointment was rushed and not as thorough as my last appt with Dr. [redacted]. [redacted] Dr.Connie Shi was very quick, rushed, and barely said anything to the scribe. She never asked about my positive ATM gene high risk for skin cancer. She didn't check between my toes or other areas I can't see in back. [redacted] I would go to her again if she is more thorough and not rushed. Thank you

Dr. Shi was able to see me earlier than the expected time which was great. I was only there for a quick check up but she was able to answer all my questions. The student shadowing her was great too.

We spent a long time talking but I still don't have a good sense what's the best course of treatment. I also worry about the cost of this appointment. I did appreciate Dr. Shi spending the time and giving her full attention - that's quite rare.

And she gave me a clear plan and what I needed to do in terms of testing and what the plan will be based on the lab work and things I got prior. I really appreciated her very much. I found Dr Shi to be knowledgeable, caring and professional.

Dr. Shi was an extremely professional doctor, gave me all the information I needed, answered all my questions, was very courteous, and it was a very good experience, and I thought I got a very thorough examination. I thought it was a job well done in her part.

Dr. Shi was impatient and rushed through the appointment. She seemed annoyed by questions, even though I didn't have any. She is lacking bedside manner. She was very dismissive and didn't even ask if I had any questions. I had to ask my questions as she was ready to leave. [redacted] I didn't feel confident with my treatment plan so I feel that the visit was a waste and left even more confused.

Dr Shi is very personable and has a great "bedside manner". She performs my annual check up and always remembers my skin issues. She reassures me that everything is ok. I don't get much time with her though. She spends about 5-7 minutes with me. It seems like she could spend more time with me and do a more thorough exam. Maybe that's all the time she needs though.

She did an amazing job with choice of prescribed medication/ointment for my face.I was just thinking about her. I picked up my prescription earlier today and washed my face and applied right away. When I got home I took a bath. after bath I applied more and As I looked at my face after it looks and feels amazing my face looks and feels so much better. Thank you So much Dr.Shi!?

This practice is superb. They are extremely responsive and get you in for an an emergency appointment right away. All 3 providers I have seen there are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and have excellent bedside manners. It is one of the best practices at BWH.

I have confidence in this provider

This was an emergency appointment due to a sudden skin problem and my regular physicians were away. This doctor was efficient and helpful. I don't plan to continue seeing her as I like my regular dermatologist very much.

Very rushed

I called attention to a new dry patch on face. Provider commented on it, but didn't indicate if it should be treated or watched. I called attention to a pre-existing dry patch on arm that previous provider had not commented on. She did not examine area or comment on.

Although Doctor Rubenstein has been my dermatologist for more than 25 years and I have been very satisfied with the relationship, I was very satisfied with my experience with Dr Shi and would be happy to have visits with her if he is not available.

Provider seemed rushed, leaving little or no time to exame/discuss general skin conditions

I would have liked her to explain the medical terms she was calling out to the scribe. I had to look at the notes later and look up the words to understand what she observed. I also would have liked more advice on why she circled two sunscreens as opposed to the others. Also perhaps when and how to use them. Ears? Nose? Etc. In addition, what to look out for in general. It felt a bit rushed. 5 minutes to explain what she observed in layman's terms (I have some medical knowledge) would have been very helpful. In summary she should have explained what she intended to put in her notes. By comparison, my wife got a much more detailed set of advice/instructions recently from her dermatologist.

Dr. Shi is very meticulous while doing checkups, spends enough time with the patient, and is very caring. Her high level of expertise in Dermatology is obvious in the appointments and I have tremendous confidence that she will provide the best care.

Dr Shi is without doubt right on my condition . She is a doctor who thinks out of the box to make you comfortable and arrive at a solution to the patients cure

She was very pleasant. However, when I picked up my medications, there was little clarity regarding the best times to take the medications and which, if any, should not be mixed with others. Fortunately, I have access to a medical professional who can provide clarity.

My only negative experience is that I have to wait a long time for an appointment.
