Okay, Dr. Harrington was great and I did have to wait a little while for her, but it was, once she was with me, she just seemed like I was totally the focus and she was very informative and explained things very well and I thought she was great.

Dr. Harrington went above and beyond! She treats you as a whole person instead of just your parts (heart). She is an excellent listener and makes usefull suggestions as well as offers to connect with other providers that may be able to help with your overall health. I felt great when I left. I am so relieved that she will monitor my heart murmer & order another echocardiogram in 2 years. She is the only doctor that listened to my heartbeat & said she could hear the murmer. I had been to a cardiologist at UMass who ordered an echo but stated he didn't think he'd find anything. He asked me if the echo showed nothing was it ok not to schedule a follow up appointment. Needless to say I never heard back from him. When I read the echo results it said mild to moderate (? Unsure of the correct terminology) heart valve issue.

Dr. Harrington treated me the way that I hoped a physician would treat me, not as someone who was coming in briefly like at a ready med and then leaving. She proposed to care for me with definitive points of future contact for follow-up. Dr. Harrington listened to my questions and we discussed my heart problems. She prescribed a Heart Monitor for me and some medication in the event my pulse begins to race and blood pressure rises and I cannot get it back into rhythm.
